Update 0.9.7f6: New structures, props, and new Trailer

Many news and fixes have been released recently.
Kwajalein has been improved with many new buildings and props. Multiplayer is well underway, and will soon be publicly released (but is already available to users in BETA).


Main changes from this update are:
  • Added new props, structures and trenches.
  • Changes in Kwajalein.
  • More fixes in uniforms.
  • Changed squad selection menu in Mission Editor.
  • Changes in Polish names.

Multiplayer now in Beta

Hi everyone.

Easy Red 2 multiplayer is now available for beta users.
We have been doing several tests during last week with users from discord and the results are pretty noticeable.
We have been able to play full multiplayer battles on game's missions and workshop missions in PvE and PvP.

If you would like to participate to the tests or just take a look to the multiplayer, you can access it joining the beta of the game.

To do that, right click on Easy Red 2 from your Steam library, select properties, go to Beta tab, and select "privatetesting" branch.

Due to the lack of beta players, we are planning our multiplayer tests on Easy Red 2 Discord server, so I suggest you to join the server as well:

Easy Red 2 multiplayer allows everyone to create it's own match an any of the game's or the workshop battles, and play publish matches with people online or private one's with your friends.

Just keep in mind that some multiplayer features are still WIP and the multiplayer will be fully ready and released in public branch in 2-3 weeks from now.

Small fixing patch

This is a small patch to fix some bugs and improves some smaller features.


    Changes:
  • Fixed "select mission cover" button wich was sometimes not working.
  • Added hint for new player when you are trying to damage tanks with HE projectiles.
  • Now AI drops Panzerfaust after using it.
  • Small improvements in animations.
  • It's now possible to open map from inside a vehicle.
  • Small fixes in tank getting stuck.
  • It's now possible to respawn on landed gliders.

Update 0.9.7f5 - improvements in visual quality and fixes

    New features:
  • Added heat distorsion effect on explosions, fire and engines.
  • Added water effect on LCVPs.

    Fixes:
  • Rapair stations now also refill ammo for tanks.
  • Fixed Stug III armour thickness.
  • Fixed step sound on custom terrains.
  • Fixed texture on bomb craters on sand.
  • Fixed collisions in some assets.
  • Improvements on AI.
  • Now surrended units can be looted.


Update about multiplayer development:

Multiplayer is at 50% of the work. Some testings will take place with Discord users in 2-3 weeks from now.

Update 0.9.7f4 Panzerfaust, Ammo crates and fixes

Changes since last version:

New features
  • Added Panzerfaust.
  • Added Panzerfaust refill crate.
  • Added Ammo refill crate.
  • Added Grenades refill crate.
  • Added Repair stations for tanks.
Fixes
  • Added light in cannon fire effect.
  • Fixes in maps and battles.
  • Fixed missing hitmarker in helmets.
  • Added second MG42 in Panzer3 turret.
  • Projectiles doesn't ricochets in bodyparts anymore.


Works on multiplayer are also proceeding quite fastly.
Public BETA testing of multiplayer will happen during next weeks.
