Update 0.9.9f5: new Map Editor, Graphic improvements, and much more!

Hi everyone.

The new Map Editor has been added to Mission Editor section.
Is now possible to create maps of the same quality and performance as the default ones, and to share them in the Steam workshop. The new system includes tools to edit terrain shape, textures, add grass, holes and much more using simple brush tools.
With the new Map Editor also maps are not tied to missions anymore: You can now create a map and then create several different missions on them.

I'm really hyped to see what you can develop using the new tool!

Here's the general changelogs:

New features:
  • Added new Map Editor.
  • Many changes in lighting, day night cycle and post processing.
  • Added dynamic Depth of Field when aiming.
  • Vehicles can now be set as locked from Mission Editor.
  • Added custom Squad Editor.
  • Added blood splash decals.


Fixes:
  • Improvements in wheeled vehicles.
  • Improvements in trees.
  • Improvements in weapons.
  • Improvements on HE projectiles and explosions.
  • Many other fixes and small addition.


Map Editor was the last important update for the game before the 1.0 release which will happen hopefully around Christmas.
We are still in time to add some more features and fix some more bugs for the release, so let me know what are the most urgent according to you.
Keep in mind that the release of the 1.0 doesn't mean that the game will not get any more update! There are still many more features that can be added for free while I'll finally work on the new Stalingrad DLC. (By the way, I'm searching for an help for map making for Stalingrad using the new Map Editor, if you are interested, please contact me on the Discord Server).

The reason behind the upcoming 1.0 release is that the contents that were originally planned for the game are finally complete; In fact, the game already feature much more contents then the originally planned ones, and that is thanks to all the feedbacks and suggestions I received, so thank you a lot to everyone who supported the game reporting feedbacks and ideas

Update 0.9.9f3: New water, new sound effects and more + news

Hi everyone. Here's the changelogs for latest update:

    New features:
  • New water waves animation.
  • Added many new sound effects.
  • New muzzle flash light effect.
  • New Italian tank crew uniform.
  • New penetration analysis in shooting range.
  • It's now possible to enable disable control of the vehicle from any seat with F2.
  • It's now possible to give some orders from within a vehicle.
  • New props in mission editor.
    Fixes:
  • Multiplayer doesn't use a region system anymore.
  • Changes in Kos props and buildings.
  • Fixes in animations.
  • Improved AI for wheeled vehicles.
  • Many other smaller fixes.


Also, a new squad editor and a revamped map editor are now in development.
The squad editor will allow you to create custom squads with custom loadouts for your editor missions.
The new map editor will allow you to create better maps with a fully customizable terrain using brush tools to raise, lower and smooth the geometry of the map, paint it, and even add grass on it.

Update v0.9.9 - Added Boys AT Rifle, new Kos mission, Zeroing system and more

Hi everyone.

A new Kos mission has been released. This will probably be last mission for Kos campaign, but works on Kos map is not complete yet.
In this map, many new building, textures and props are going to be added and reworked.
After that the same upgrade will be done to Anzio map.

So here's the most noticeable changes since last version:

    New Features:
  • Added Boys Anti Tank Rifle.
  • Added 6th Kos mission.
  • Added Zeroing system (Page Up/Down buttons)
  • Added Airplanes tutorial.

    Changes:
  • Reworked end battle menu.
  • It's now possible to deactivate player's feedback voice when he gets a kill from game settings.
  • Fixes in cinematic camera mode.
  • Various other small changes.


Also other updates has been done during last week. Changes includes:
  • Improved skybox system for mission editor.
  • Added motion capture animations for static guns and mortars.
  • Noticeable performance improvements.
