Update 1.0: Many fixes + Early Access goals reached!

Hi everyone!

With this update the game has all features that were originally planned, and the game is finally ready to exit Early Access. Some days of testing will be carried out to make sure the game has as few bugs as possible before making this official.

So what now?
The game will still receive updates for at least all 2022.
Not only DLCs like the upcoming Stalingrad DLC, but also new updates with new features, vehicles, weapons, bug fixes and more will be released with a high frequency as usual. During 2021 we released more then one update per week in average, and we want to keep this as high as possible, but we know that in the coming months, due to personal and technical reasons, the updates may slow down a bit, but don't worry. During Q1 of 2022 many new features are already planned such as new destructible buildings and props for all vanilla maps and editor maps, AI improvements, graphic improvements, and more.
Also, starting from today Nintendo Switch version of Easy Red 2 is officially in development as well, and it should require just a few month to be ready.

As always, you can report bugs, suggest features, and in general get in touch in Easy Red 2 Discord Server.

Also, here's the trailer for the 1.0 release:

•Fixed quick match auto join.
•Fixes in uniforms and faces.
•Fixes in animations.
•Fixes in gamepad controls.
•Fixes in mission editor and map editor.
•Fixes in multiplayer.
•Fixes in vaulting.
•Various other bug fixes.

Thank you all for your support, really, it's thanks to each of you that Easy Red 2 has become what it is over the last year.
I hope to see you in the Discord server.

Marco.

With the 1.0 the game will be finally complete and fully playable with all the features there were initially planned; Actually the game ended up having much more content then the originally planned, such as the Kos campaign, the planes, the new Map editor and much more.
Still after the 1.0 we will continue working on the game for at least all the 2023, hearing to your feedbacks and suggestions as always; Some new features are already planned for the new year, and also we are working more and more on the Stalingrad DLC (ETA Q2 2022)

Update 0.9.9f5: new Map Editor, Graphic improvements, and much more!

Hi everyone.

The new Map Editor has been added to Mission Editor section.
Is now possible to create maps of the same quality and performance as the default ones, and to share them in the Steam workshop. The new system includes tools to edit terrain shape, textures, add grass, holes and much more using simple brush tools.
With the new Map Editor also maps are not tied to missions anymore: You can now create a map and then create several different missions on them.

I'm really hyped to see what you can develop using the new tool!

Map Editor was the last important update for the game before the 1.0 release which will happen hopefully around Christmas.
We are still in time to add some more features and fix some more bugs for the release, so let me know what are the most urgent according to you.
Keep in mind that the release of the 1.0 doesn't mean that the game will not get any more update! There are still many more features that can be added for free while I'll finally work on the new Stalingrad DLC. (By the way, I'm searching for an help for map making for Stalingrad using the new Map Editor, if you are interested, please contact me on the Discord Server).

The reason behind the upcoming 1.0 release is that the contents that were originally planned for the game are finally complete; In fact, the game already feature much more contents then the originally planned ones, and that is thanks to all the feedbacks and suggestions I received, so thank you a lot to everyone who supported the game reporting feedbacks and ideas
Have a great day,
Marco.
