Announcing the first Community Map Creation Contest

Hello everyone!
SpiderHeck development is in full swing and we’ll be sharing some great news about the progress very soon!

In the meantime, we’re slowly getting towards the end of the year and the festive season. As it’s the season of giving, we wanted to give you the opportunity to show off your creativity in our very first community contest!
Community Map Creation Contest
You’ve seen and battled on some of the already existing arenas in SpiderHeck and probably even developed some nice tactics to survive the endless waves of angry wasps! So now it’s time to come up with something brand new and unique so you can challenge yourself and other players!

Design your own SpiderHeck arena and get a chance to have it featured in the next game update! You are free to use any software or even draw your design on a piece of paper! Heck, you can even create a complete design document explaining how each of the arena’s parts function! As long as it remains within the bounds of propriety, we are ok with it.

Submit your creations on our Discord server under the #submissions channel by December 10th and who knows, maybe we all battle on one of your maps in future?

Read the full rules here and good luck!

I continue to answer your SpiderHeck questions!

Heya!

Here is the second video of me attempting to answer all the questions sent in by the Discord members!

For some reason, a noticeable chunk of the questions are about my dog... weird.

I answer your SpiderHeck questions!

Heya!

A while back I asked Discord members to send in questions they want me to answer, and here is a video of me attempting to do just that!

There were a lot of submissions and I will soon make another one to answer the rest.

Thank you for your time and all the questions!
Enjoy the crazy PVE Wave Survival mode and try to beat your highest score!
Test your skills in this single player mode featuring endless and constantly evolving waves of attackers and show them who’s the boss! There’s a vast arsenal at your disposal - from laser swords to the devastating rocket launchers! Just stay away from those blasts or you might find some of your limbs missing!
Find out who is the most powerful web-slinging fighter!
Invite up to 4 friends and fight each other in the crazy dynamic multiplayer mode. Swing, stab and win in style!
Play together on one PC in a couch co-op, or join the match using Steam Remote Play and show them what you’ve got. You might all be good friends and join forces for a short period of time, but there can only be one winner, so keep your many eyes out and watch your back!
Help us spread the web word!
Make sure to tell all your friends about the demo and help us reach the top of the festival charts this year!
