[April Fool's Day] Introducing the Arachnophobia Mode
Hello friends!
If, for whatever reason, you still find time to pay attention to what your spider looks like in the heat of battle, then we have some great news!
Today we are bringing you a new way to play SpiderHeck - Arachnophobia Mode!
What the heck
Yes. You can choose from a few different options that suit you best. Fully transform your spider into something completely different, add your own face and more! Let us show you!
‘SpiderSnek’ or ‘the more you know’ paragraph
Originally, we wanted to go with butterflies and all. Still, it turns out there’s a Lepidopterophobia, so we would end up in a situation where we would have to develop another phobia mode, so we scraped this idea.
Not quite a spider
Alternatively, you can upload your own photo (Terms and Conditions apply. Read the 187-page end-user licence agreement) and literally be in the game! We know it's not exactly a full-fledged replacement for our cutest little spiders, but we do want to give you a choice!
IF NOTHING ELSE WORKS
If you still can't play SpiderHeck with your eyes open, this option is definitely for you! Simply disable the legs display and turn your spider into a ping-pong ball.

And if that is still not enough…
FEAR NOT - NOW YOU WON'T SEE ANYTHING.
Completely turn off the spider models so nothing will distract you from the intense gameplay. Just remember to wear a hat so you'll at least have a rough idea of where the heck you are.

We hope this game mode will finally help you and your friends truly enjoy the crazy gameplay full of incredible parkour, powerful explosions, OMG moments and treacherous "completely accidental" friendly fire.
