Override 2: Super Mech League News

Nine games are leaving PS Plus this month, never to return to the service again! As such, if you've got a PS Plus Extra subscription, you should redeem these games as soon as possible, before they're taken away.

A combination of both PS4 and PS5 games, these titles are downloadable and playable on both of these consoles only. If you own either of these, then you're good to go.

This weekend, get ready to put metal to metal and compete to win prizes by queueing in up Override 2: Super Mech League to take on the developers of the game. To celebrate the free weekend on Steam and Xbox, members of the Modus Studios Brazil and Modus Games team will be matchmaking with random users in the Override 2 community. If you are able to best them in battle, you can win a free deck of Override 2 trading cards!

Here's how it works:

• Any time between Thursday, April 29 and Sunday, May 2, queue up for a match in Override 2: Super Mech League.
  
• Look for the following usernames from members of the MSB and Modus Games team: Kaelliam, Hoagie, NPC, Bisco, aG.Hill, gabriel.cataldi, Vyeung76, Aragatti, Smoke_Max
  
• If you compete against and defeat one of the above users, screenshot the post-match screen and post it to Twitter or Instagram with #BeatTheO2Devs and then follow Modus_Games on the platform you've shared it on (so that we can reach out via DM!).
  

We will randomly select 20 winners who share their screenshots by Sunday, May 2 at 11:59pm PDT. Winners will be announced Monday, May 3! Winners must respond within 48 hours of the initial message and verify their mailing address. Click here for full rules and conditions.

Dan Moroboshi follows Black King, Bemular and Ultraman himself as the fourth and final member of the ULTRAMAN crew joining the fight.

Override’s very first playable kaiju makes his debut as a part of the ULTRAMAN DLC today! Black King brings a bevy of slashing, stomping, and chomping attacks to the arena giving him an arsenal of powerful melee attacks. Check out the brand-new gameplay trailer to see him action:

Black King is a ravenous Kaiju from the ULTRAMAN anime with the power to rip enemies to shreds with ease. The character follows Ultraman and Bemular as the third of four ULTRAMAN characters coming to the game, with Dan Moroboshi releasing in the coming months.

The new patch also adds cross-play matchmaking functionality to the game for Steam, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One users. This allows players on different platforms to experience improved queue times and battle against a larger competitive pool of participants for each map type. Devastate your opponents with earth-shattering combos as Bemular, now available in Override 2: Super Mech League. Check out his reveal trailer below!

Based on his appearance from the Netflix anime series, Bemular’s strange alien origins give him access to deadly energy attacks that will leave his opponents scrambling to keep up. His kit allows him to threaten enemies from any position in the arena, with powerful ranged attacks.  

[h2]Bemular’s Move Set: [/h2]

• Triple Shot: Shoots three projectiles at Bemular’s target. Can be used while in the air.  
  
• Beam Orb: Summons a ray-shooting orb that fires down from above.  
  
• Piercing Ray: Shoots a ray that pierces enemies. Can be charged to fire an even stronger ray that knocks enemies down. Can be used while in the air.  
  
• Explosion: Causes an explosion around Bemular. Avoids stuns for one hit during this attack.  
  
• Ultimate: Charges an enormous energy ball and throws it at a target. Does more damage the longer it flies, up to twice its base damage.  
  

Bemular follows Ultraman himself as the second of four ULTRAMAN characters coming to the game, with Black King and Dan Moroboshi releasing in the coming months.  

This new mech isn’t the only change coming to Override 2 today. The patch also includes a few additional updates and balancing tweaks, including the brand-new additions of co-op matchmaking (up to 2 players) in Leagues and Quick Play modes across all platforms.
