Not so long ago, we promised you that we didn’t stop developing our game. That’s why, today, we’re back, much quicker than last time, with a new dev log!
As always, I’d love to thank you for your honest opinion on the last news. It’s much appreciated that you look forward to the game!

Today we'll go through a few features – new improved behavior (and animations) of our customers, expansion of hair mechanics, and a little surprise at the end, so be sure to read till the end not to miss it 😉

[h3]New Poster[/h3]

It’s poster time – we’re introducing more and more human factors to the game, so it was high time to change our header. Now you can see a hairdresser at work, which is the meat and potatoes of our gameplay. We'd love to know how you compare it to the previous one, so please share your thoughts in the comments section below.

[h3]Facial expressions[/h3]

Our goal is to make it feel like you work with real human beings. Thanks to the new facial expressions, the game is more immersive than before.
Now you can see how your client reacts to your actions. A customer might wink at you, smile, look in your direction, and will probably close his eyes during the hair-washing and drying process… Unless he thinks he might enjoy getting shampooed in the eye.

[h3]Mechanics[/h3]

Feel comfortable at work with the new hairdresser sink that you can use for head washing – along with shampooing and rinsing dyes off.
Let’s straighten every inch of hair with the new straightener. We changed how it looks and improved the animation.

[h3]Hair trimmer[/h3]

And now something new – you can join our salon and adjust your hairstyle as you wish. We would like to present the hair trimmer – the primary accomplice to dramatic transformation and cool fades… If one knows how to use it. Be careful of the power you wield!

[h3]Making the salon[/h3]

Now’s the time for the promised surprise. Believe me or not, it’s not a piece of cake to run your own hairdressing salon. Let me take you through some basics step by step.

First of all let’s choose the logo and a name.

Then it’s time to take out the trash. We want to clear out space for new furniture.

Let’s make it shiny as new by plugging holes in the walls. It’s crucial to get the salon ready before customers' arrival.

Sell equipment left over by previous owners and start a new life for your business.

What’s left is to buy the most important accessories and finish the renovation.

Now you’re ready to face upcoming challenges and begin your climb to the top of the ladder – become the best hairdresser in town!

I know it’s been a while since we posted a development update, but don’t you worry – we’re constantly moving forward and creating new stuff to bring you fresh news straight from our Hairdresser salon.

We highly appreciate your interest in the game and always look forward to your feedback, so feel free to leave your opinion in the comments 🙌

[h3]What’s new?[/h3]

Today I want to focus on a few classic hairdressing practices and show you, step by step, almost limitless options for our model makeover. It’s still a work in progress, but we’re constantly pushing forward.

Without further ado, grab your scissors, we’re going to do some haircuts!

[h3]Sprinkling[/h3]

We need to prepare our client for transformation. Let’s begin by slowly dousing the hair with water before we apply shampoo – it has to foam, right?


[h3]Shampoo[/h3]

Apply the shampoo with a brush. We don’t want to make the customer feel uncomfortable, so let's do it gently by massaging the scalp to fill the hair with foam.


Now you can use a little force to help the foam cover every spot on the head.


Carefully wash off our model’s hair and let’s move on to the next step.


[h3]Drying[/h3]

Now it’s time to blow dry the hair. Remember, we want to do it carefully and evenly. Remember, it’s best to keep the blow-dryer at least 20 cm away from the hair!



[h3]Brushing[/h3]

Alright, before we get to the most exciting part, we need to prepare hair to be properly styled. Brushing is important because we separate specific strands of hair, which help us at work.


[h3]Hair clipping[/h3]

Properly brushed hair is now much easier to clip. Use our Hair elastic and tie up the strands you don’t want to cut.



[h3]Straightening[/h3]

You have to be prepared that your customer might want to straighten some things out. That’s why we prepared a useful tool for you, to fulfill the desire for straight hair.


[h3]Coloring[/h3]

Almost everybody enjoys changing things up now and then…
Sometimes it’s a new car, a new pair of shoes or a new job.
But there is another way to turn your life around! — Show your customers these colorful hairstyles… before they make some other drastic life decisions.

pssst: that rainbow is just a showcase of possibilities 🤫

[h3]Cutting[/h3]

Okay, we’ve made it to the most iconic point in the journey of every hairdresser.
That means we’re going to cut some hair!
Be careful – it’s a very precise job. One mistake and the whole hairstyle is ruined.

Grab the section of hair you wish, hold it with a comb, adjust the length, and make one smooth cut.


[h3]Advice[/h3]

We know that an even cut is easier achieved on wet hair, but we thought it would be interesting to show you that in Hairdresser Simulator it’s possible to make it on dry hair as well.

PS: This was just a showcase, no customers were injured during the photoshoot.

Hello there, Hairdressers!

It’s been a long time, but our developers haven’t stopped! We’re aware of your interest in the game, that’s why we’ve got some cool work-in-progress graphics!
Before we proceed, we’d like to thank you for your activity on our social media and steam page. We’re grateful for the feedback and every opinion.

So, without further ado, let’s get scissors in hand, and cut some hair!

First of all, before the mechanics and animations, We'd like to show you how our work looks now, especially hair model.



The first news from our hairdressing saloon is the pie menu, where you can pick previously bought scissors. You could spot that waving hair, but that will come later.

Our team is constantly working on improving our hair mechanics and physics. We've also added cutting animation, so you can see what the early work in progress looks like. They wave, move, and are flexible in your hand, but it’s still a way to perfection. Every opinion would be an asset, and we’re looking forward to it.

And last but not least is that wavy move. Flexibility and realistic physics are WIP, but we’ve decided to share that with you.

Hello there, Hairdressers!

It’s been a long time since we’ve released any update regarding Hairdresser Simulator. Many of you can’t wait to see new updates, so we're here to deliver you fresh news from our hairdressing salon.

First things first, we’re still developing a Hairdresser Simulator, so there is nothing to worry about. Our team has already gained momentum, and we are doing our best to provide you with new screenshots, trailers, or gifs as soon as possible. Actually, we have one for you, so you can check it below:



In Hairdresser Simulator, you will be able to customize your hairdressing salon completely, but first, you have to prove that you are one of the best (if not the best) existing hairdressers on the market. To do that, you need to start from the very beginning, but that doesn’t mean you can’t aim higher. Constantly improve your skills, follow current trends, and expand your brand further to encourage your old and new customers to visit your salon.

You also need to remember about self-development, as this will help you claim the top spot in the hairdressing industry. Attend classes, look for new courses and training, and test your skills in the final exam, to expand your wide range of skills. Last but not least, make sure you’re well-equipped because you never know what the future will bring.
