EA 0.8 Preview Build 2986 - Patch Notes

In case you missed it (or didn't believe us because it was April Fool's Day), the EA 0.8 preview is out!

A big thank you to everyone who has played already and sent feedback! We got a handful of bug reports from you all and have addressed a bunch of them for our first patch!

[h2]Changelog[/h2]
  • Fixed Office Desk (Right) couldn't attach chairs
  • Fixed Cabinet End (Left) couldn't attach larger items like grills
  • Fixed Items with capacities larger than 1 box size (like the large drinks fridge) couldn't be filled fully
  • Fixed Headhunter could find employees with "None_skills"
  • Fixed collider was too large for modular sofas and you couldn't place them near each other
  • Fixed a weird sidewalk collider between 1 and 2 pier
  • Fixed can't enter 26 1st St
  • Fixed disco pants were not visible in-game
  • Fixed Mr. Scott's Office Supplies manager was missing their computer.
  • Fixed the wrong Product Display Table was for sale at AJ Pederson
  • Fixed the shelves were showing products when they were empty
  • Fixed issue if you cancel or discard an item you were placing directly out of a hand truck
  • Fixed if you grab a box off the floor with a hand truck it becomes "closed cardboard box"
  • Fixed the missing blue dot in the Logistics Manager that indicates primary products for that store
  • Fixed autopark sometimes makes vehicles shake and bounce around
  • Added a warning if you try to use a computer when you're not in your home
  • Fixed an issue if you switch items that a display shelf is selling.
  • Updated some help files
  • Fixed some clothing glitches
  • Fixed some employee equipment demands weren't being recognized when properly fulfilled
  • Fixed an issue if you looked the rivals, then changed your appearance (changing clothes, daily aging, etc), you would take the rival's appearance
  • Fixed headlights on Lytte weren't very visibly bright
  • Partially fixed using movers to move desks is broken with our new placement system
    • You should be able to safely use the movers now!
    • Note: If you already had a move that glitched items, your missing items should be in that building's delivery spot
    • Note: Some items might be rotated the wrong way. We'll continue fixing this!
  • Fixed issue with "no cleaning shifts" demand being improperly unfulfilled, if you had previously assigned them to a cleaning station
    • Note: If your employee currently has this bug, unassign them from that station and reassign them, and it should reset!
  • Fixed a weird bug that could set your prices to "undefined" resulting in the game claiming you made $9 quintillion.
    • Note: if you experienced this, we have reset the price of the broken items, but you might need to adjust it back where you want it

[h3]Known Issues[/h3]
Here are a few more items we haven't had a chance to address yet, but we will!
  • Two players have reported their age resetting to 0 - if you experience this, please report it in-game, so we can investigate! Be sure to include as many details as you can remember!
  • When using the movers, some items on desks might be rotated the wrong way.
  • The light from the turn signals on the new Lytte bleed over to each other slightly
  • If you use TAA Anti-Aliasing it makes some textures flicker
  • Sometimes the AI stands sideways at the register. We'll ask them not to.
  • When you start a new logistics delivery, it shows you all the options currently being delivered to your warehouse
