Festive Present Hunt Event

Claim them by striking the presents with a pickaxe and collecting the smaller gifts that drop out. Patch 1.1.3

[p]Hey all, it's been a while, I hope you're well!

We have been preparing a fun update for December, and thought it best to put out a patch now to fix some bugs and make some meaningful changes to the camera system. [/p][p][/p][p]I'm still open to making further changes to the camera if needed, but I think we have nailed it now. [/p][p]~ Julian[/p][p][/p][h3]~ Camera Changes:[/h3]
  • [p]Inverted the default camera tilt, as it was the opposite of what most people are used to (you can still invert it back in the game settings)[/p]
  • [p]Added smooth-scrolling to camera zoom so it's not bound by only 3 zoom levels[/p]
  • [p]Changed the smoothing settings and sensitivity levels for the camera[/p]
  • [p]Added new sliders in settings to adjust camera sensitivity and zoom sensitivity[/p]
  • [p]The camera now adjusts when you tilt to look at the horizon, making it easier to see into the distance while moving around.[/p]
  • [p]Slightly altered the FOV of the camera [/p]
[p][/p][h3]~ Bug Fixes and Changes:[/h3]
  • [p]Fixed interact objects such as beds, chests, campfires, etc, becoming locked and not clickable[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an exploit where holding down the attack input after starting the press during the crit window of a tool would result in all subsequent attacks being crits[/p]
  • [p]Optimised enemy loading speed to improve frames in the dungeons while lots of enemies are spawning[/p]
  • [p]Fixed moving farm plots in edit mode not working correctly[/p]
  • [p]Several changes to help prevent cases where character data can become corrupt[/p]
  • [p]Added distant black fog in the caves [/p]
  • [p]Fixed the Cane Torch not properly fading away in buildings[/p][p][/p]

  • [p]Fixed the chest on the desert island not being interactable[/p]
  • [p]Tweaked the cell loading calculation to work better on capped frame rates[/p]
  • [p]Made grapes and passionfruit display as perfectly ripe on the new UI when in their sparkle stage[/p]
  • [p]Fixed Tesla towers needing to be interacted with after loading to activate (even though they had fuel)[/p]
  • [p]Updated compendium pet "unlocked" counter to include bear[/p]
  • [p]Stopped the chicken coop output slot from showing in UI[/p]
  • [p]Stopped animals bunching up on bits of navmesh (e.g. from pet bed) before the cellObject navmesh is finished generating[/p]
  • [p]Stopped foundation farms from being placed on top of decorations if they were snapping to another construct[/p]
  • [p]Fixed many issues with moving farming items (e.g. water towers, farms, etc.)[/p]
  • [p]Stopped quests from showing notifications again after every load[/p]

  • [p]Improved frame rates during chunk loading when using a framerate cap or vsync[/p]

  • [p]Fixed an issue causing interactable objects to sometimes not be selectable.[/p]
