Spaceflux started as a multiplayer arena shooter, but for the last 2 years, I focused on adding PvE, and now it's all finally coming together. I hope you enjoy this new Horde Mode as much as the multiplayer. See you in the next update~

The long-awaited Spaceflux update is finally here! There's so much new stuff to cover that I made a Spaceflux Direct!

HORDE MODE

Introducing the new single player Horde Mode!


Stand your ground against wave after wave of head boys.
With 5 enemy types.


In all impossible spaces!
Compete for the global high score!
Each map-and-impossible-space combination has its own leaderboard, so there are lots of opportunities to get your name up there!

THE BACKROOMS

The Backrooms is a brand new map in Spaceflux! Get lost in an infinite labyrinth of abandoned office space.
You can even try it in Horde Mode.

ONLINE PLAY

With this update, I really focused on improving the online experience. Online games run smoother now thanks to better netcode. And Quick Play makes it easier to get into a match.

Autoserver allows you to keep your server running 24/7.
This puts you in spectator mode and allows other players to fight each other while you host. Once it starts, you dont have to do anything and will automatically keep the matches coming.

I'm so excited to announce that we will be presenting Spaceflux at GDC 2022 as part of the Experimental Gameplay Workshop's 20th Anniversary!

If you're attending this year's GDC, be sure to come by Room 2006, West Hall on Friday, March 25, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm PST to see us live! You'll also be able to find our talk online when it's uploaded to GDC Vault.

This is a really exciting time for us. Spaceflux has come such a long way and I’m really thankful to EGW and GDC for giving us a chance to share it with the world.

Sandbox mode: build your own map! Use M to pick colors from the palette and middle mouse button (right analog stick button on a controller) to place blocks. Works in multiplayer too!

Track each player while spectating with the new 3rd person cameras. Toggle camera views with V once in spectator mode.
