I want to start by saying thank you for all the support, excitement, and patience you've shown for Warspace 2. Seeing so many of you looking forward to the game means the world to me, and I truly appreciate it.

After a lot of consideration, I’ve made the tough decision to move the release date to June 6, 2025. This wasn’t an easy choice, and I know it’s not what some of you wanted to hear. But my priority is making sure Warspace 2 is the best game it can be at launch. The extra time will allow me to fine-tune the gameplay, improve balance, and add more polish to ensure the experience lives up to both your expectations and my own vision for the game.

This will be the final release window, and no further delays are planned. The only possible change would be a small adjustment to the exact release day if necessary, but Warspace 2 will be launching in June.

I know waiting longer isn’t ideal, and I truly appreciate your patience. I don’t take delays lightly, but I also don’t want to rush out something that isn’t ready. Warspace 2 has been in development for years, and I want the full release to be worth every second of that wait.

Originally, we planned to release Warspace 2 in January 2025. However, after reviewing the game’s progress and listening to your feedback from the demo, We decided to push the release date to March 2025. A specific release day will be announced as we get closer to the date.

This decision wasn’t made lightly, but I want to ensure Warspace 2 launches with the polish, content, and quality it deserves. The extra time will allow me to add more depth, refine the balance, and ensure everything runs smoothly for a better experience for you all.

I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s played the Warspace 2 demo so far! The feedback has been amazing, and I really appreciate all the suggestions and thoughts you’ve shared. It’s been a huge help as I continue to work on the game.

For anyone who hasn’t had the chance to try the demo yet, good news! It will still be available for two more weeks, so feel free to jump in and explore. I’m excited to hear more feedback and see how everyone’s experience is.

As for the full release, the plan is still to launch in January 2025. That said, I want to make sure the game meets the quality you all deserve, so if I feel like it needs a bit more polish, the release date might shift slightly. I’ll keep you all posted if that happens!

What is Warspace 2 ?
Warspace 2 is an indie space shooter RPG developed and published by Magic Game Art. It features an open-world, procedurally generated universe where players can trade, craft, fight, and explore. You can play solo or in cooperative mode with friends.


Who is developing Warspace 2?
I’m Dawid Koziol, the passionate developer behind Warspace 2, self-published under my studio name Magic Game Art. I started this ambitious project solo in 2019, writing the first line of code. Although I work on it in my spare time, this game is a labor of love and dedication. Currently with the help of a few developers I’m striving to create the best space adventure ever inspired by my favorites space games like Warblade, Space Rangers, No Man’s Sky, Star Valor, and Everspace I aim to deliver a truly unique and immersive experience.


When will Warspace 2 be released?
Warspace 2 is scheduled for release around Q4 2024​.


On which platforms will Warspace 2 be available?
Warspace 2 will be available on Steam for Windows, MacOS and Linux with cross-play and cross-save on all systems.


Is there a single-player mode?
Yes, Warspace 2 can be played in a single-player mode as well as cooperative multiplayer options​. Everything available in single player mode will be possible to do in multiplayer and vice versa.


Does Warspace 2 support cooperative gameplay (COOP)?
Yes, Warspace 2 features online cooperative gameplay (COOP) where you can team up with friends to explore the galaxy, complete missions, and engage in space combat together​.


How many players can join a cooperative session?
The game supports online co-op and LAN co-op of maximally 4 players per session.


What type of gameplay can I expect in Warspace 2?
Players will experience a mix of space combat, exploration, trading, and crafting. You will take on the role of a commander, piloting a customizable spaceship and encountering various challenges and enemies across different star systems.


How does the procedural generation work in Warspace 2?
The universe in Warspace 2 is procedurally generated, meaning each playthrough offers unique star systems, planets, and encounters. This ensures a different experience every time you play.


Can I upgrade my ship and equipment?
Yes, you can loot items, gather materials, and craft and upgrade your equipment to improve your capabilities and survivability in the game.


Will Warspace 2 support Steam Deck and controllers?
Yes, Warspace 2 will support playing on Steam Deck as well as with controllers. We’ve ensured that the game is optimized for a seamless experience on these platforms, allowing you to enjoy the game with your preferred input method.


Will there be language support in Warspace 2?
Yes, Warspace 2 will support multiple languages, including English, Polish, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Simplified Chinese
