Development roadmap: where we are sailing to

Being able to offer an Early Access for Ragnaröck was important to us: it's a great way to develop a game with direct feedback from the players. Early Access is also a promise made to the community, it is a strong commitment between a studio and the players.

Since the release of Early Access, the entire team is very excited about the players' feedback on Ragnaröck. We have already rolled out quite a few updates, and we are working on a lot of new things at the same time, thanks to the community here, and on Twitter, Facebook, or Discord.

[h2]With this publication, we reveal where we want to go next:

[h2]Let's take a closer look at what that means:

Early Access is scheduled to end this summer. Until then, we want to roll out new features regularly. First of all to thank the players for their loyalty and their daily involvement in this Early Access, but also because we are eager to offer new things and extend the game!

  • Each major update will bring new game content as well as features. There will be minor updates in between, if needed.
  • Adding new environment maps is important for us: they immerse you on an epic journey, and also allow us to tell a story through different universes.
  • The playlist of songs will be extended and we are in discussion with new bands every day. All of your recommendations are excellent and we are studying them with great interest!
  • Comfort, personalization, replayability and competition features are the main components of future developments.
  • The game will be translated into multiple languages for the game's release.
  • Regarding Oculus Quest compatibility, which many of you are asking about, we will do our best to do what is necessary during this year. The challenges are many, but we like it!

That's it for today! As usual, we are still hard at work so stay tuned. You are all invited to share reactions and areas of improvement here, or chat with the dev team on our Discord channel!
