Song Of The Prairie version 1.2 update

It’s our pleasure to bring you some new about Song of The Prairie. This time, we will update to version 1.2, now, just follow my step to see the details of this major update.
New Contents:

Main Story of Third Year
Now the story finally expand to third year! Wondering what interesting things will happen and which character will be involved? Just have a look in Prairie Town.
New Fest, Praying Festival
New Fest has came! I guess everyday will has it’s own fest in Prairie Town in the future :) Hoping there will be such more fests in real life!
For the peace of next year, in the 25th Winter of third year, will be praying festival in Prairie Town. At that day, residences could gift sky lantern to each other for affection expression. Of curse, mayors could gift lanterns to someone you like, and, don’t forget invite him/her to fly lanterns to the sky at night beside Goddess Statue in Town center, to make a wish to upcoming year. During the fest, there will be lanterns spawn in scene, fly them as you want with your great wish!
New Crop, Okra.
There’s a new crop ready for harvest! This time, it’s okra. This angular, pepper-like plant is said to be very good for you! However, its slimy texture and slightly bitter taste make it a bit hard for me to swallow. Though, I have to admit, it’s not bad when made into chips (though most vegetables taste pretty similar once they’re turned into chips). Speaking of which, I hadn’t seen or even heard of okra in our town for many years, but it’s slowly becoming more common these days. Village leaders, you might want to give it a try and grow some! But let me say it again—okra really isn’t that tasty!
Optimizations

New Crop and Fruit Low-Poly Models
As always, optimization work continues... and it might just last a lifetime! This time, we’ve added low-poly models for crops, fruits, and other assets. Low-poly models are an essential part of 3D game optimization. In games, especially open-world games without indoor loading, rendering every object in high detail would not only waste computer resources but also place a heavy burden on game performance. After all, distant objects on the screen don’t need much detail, just like how the human eye can’t clearly see objects that are too far away in real life. This is where low-poly models come into play. By reducing polygon counts and texture resolution for objects far from the camera, we can significantly save resources.

In this update, we’ve added low-poly models for crops and fruits. As a farming simulation game, Song of the Pasture offers vast areas for planting. When these areas are fully cultivated, the scene becomes truly spectacular. Adding low-poly models for crops will undoubtedly bring noticeable optimization improvements.

That’s a brief introduction to the updates in version 1.2. For more details, we welcome players to come and experience it all in Pasture Town!
Suprise!
Lastly, we have some exciting news to share. While actively preparing for the new version of Song of the Pasture, we’ve also been working on a mini game set in the world of Prairie Town, titled Song of the Prairie: Wonderland on Desktop. The store page is now released on Steam, and we’ll have more detailed announcements about this game in the future. Stay tuned!

Song Of The Prairie, Happy new year! Mayors!

Hello, Mayors

Time travels fast, 2024 is about to over. For Prairie Town, it’s an important year with significant meaning. In this year, we finished early stage test and released 1.0.

From the beginning of this year to now, we released 5 major updates, and added new systems for each. We wanted to make this game more fun and interesting. Please, at the following time, come with me, let look back what has happened in 2024!

At the beginning of 2024, we updated 0.7, and added a new map for Prairie Town “Second Homeland”. Added two festivals and stories of second year.

In April, 0.8 was released, the Highly anticipated marriage system was added with new festivals and more props.

June, 0.9 was updated, the achievement system finally came! A lot of cutscenes have been polished. More than that, we optimized a lot of resources and textures to make this town more delicate. Now there was only one step to 1.0.

August, early access stage was over after a 482-day test. We changed the whole style, poster and LOGO. Systemically optimized character creating interface. More than just new props or decors, the fight system and BOSS fight in 100 floor of Underground World completed this game and began with a new start for us.

We were facing the new challenge and fulling with energy at the same time. After the release of 1.0. We started a poll about adjusting character proportion, not just to fit the new design of 1.0, but also to answer your feedback and discussions. September, all the proportion of characters have been changed according to poll in new version.

October, 1.1 arrived as plan, we added more content for this game, includes new characters Inner Space, new marriage characters, and of course more props and outfits.

Until now, the version is 1.1.95

In 2024 except 5 major updates, there were 722 patches! Song of The Prairie is not perfect, that was why we need a few times to fix things for the running stable after every update. Those patches were the answer to the challenges. In the future, we still will support the stability of this game. We want to say, thank you mayors! Thank you all for your attributions to this Prairie Town! Thank you for your support in 2024, we will see you in 2025! Happy New Year!
