We’re back with a sneak peek at what’s coming in the next update for Taxi Life that's launching on September 18![/p][p][/p][p]This one includes a feature that we know has been requested by the community for some time and we can’t wait for you to check it out. Lets dive in![/p][p][/p][h3]Pick Up Passengers Directly From the Street[/h3][p]In previous versions of the game, mission triggers only appeared once you selected a task from the map. That’s changing.[/p][p][/p][p]With the upcoming update, mission triggers will now appear seamlessly as you drive through the city, without needing to pre-select anything from the menu. That means you can jump into action the moment you spot a trigger in the world, keeping a more fluid and natural gameplay experience.[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][h3]Country Flags[/h3][p]You’ll be able to decorate your taxi with country flags, letting you represent your nation (or your favorite one!) while cruising through Barcelona.All these cosmetics are completely free![/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][h3]But that's not all…[/h3][p]We're also addressing community-reported bugs and working on something very exciting: a licensed vehicle making its debut in Taxi Life. This is a big milestone for the game, as it's the first time an officially licensed car will be featured in the lineup. We’ll talk more about it in the coming days. [/p][p]

We’ve got bug fixes, free content, and a brand-new DLC release! We have been teasing some of these things for a little bit on our socials so if you have been following along then you know…but for those that don’t. Let’s dive right in
[/p][h3]New Free Content: Luxury Pack[/h3][p]
[/p][p]Free with this update, we’re giving the community a free luxury cosmetic pack as a thank you for playing our game. Here’s what you can get[/p]

• [p]Two new dashboard accessories: a wristwatch and a pocket watch[/p]
• [p]3 new luxury interior materials[/p]
• [p]3 high-end exterior materials[/p]
• [p]A custom gear stick[/p]
• [p]3 new rim styles to add extra flair to your wheels[/p]

[p]Now you can flex your shiny gold paint and stylish rims while cruising the streets of Barcelona.
[/p][h3]New DLC: VIP City Guide[/h3][p]You can expect a brand new DLC where you’ll be able to pick up tourists and show them interesting points across the map before taking them to their final destination. Make sure you keep them interested, as you will have to balance their interest bar along with driving safely and maintaining their patience as well.[/p]

• [p]Fixed an issue where the game could freeze after multiple save reloads[/p]
• [p]Controller and keyboard focus now works properly in the Garage tab switching[/p]
• [p]Tutorial input bug fixed—no more ghost button presses[/p]
• [p]Incorrect parking pop-up no longer appears after finishing a job[/p]
• [p]Package icons from old deliveries no longer show up in new jobs[/p]
• [p]Fixed the tip amount for completed taxi jobs—it now reflects your performance[/p]
• [p]Experience and money now correctly saved by autosave after finishing a course[/p]
• [p]Mouse/keyboard inputs now behave correctly when switching during Pause Menu[/p]
• [p]Fixed issues with photo mode and driver visibility in FPP[/p]

• [p]Improved the look of curved roads on the minimap[/p]
• [p]Fixed issues with invisible collisions during parade events[/p]
• [p]Blocked access to unintended areas like the opening near Plaça de Ramon Berenguer el Gran[/p]
• [p]Fixed pointer snapping to cabin elements in FPP mode[/p]

• [p]AI now behaves better around parade events—no more crashes or floating pedestrians[/p]

• [p]Fixed collision bugs with parades near Carrer de Jaume Vicens i Vives[/p]
• [p]Parallax AI vehicles no longer break the immersion (or themselves)[/p]
• [p]Crashes & Stability[/p]
• [p]Fixed rare PS5 crash after canceling a job[/p]
• [p]Fixed XSX crash when reverting system settings[/p]
• [p]Fixed crash when showcasing landmarks[/p]
• [p]Fixed issue where cars would launch into the air if tourists were being shown landmarks with AI nearby[/p]

• [p]Fixed digital speedometer missing on the Victoris’ dashboard[/p]
• [p]Fixed hand brake input not registering after pause menu use[/p]
• [p]Cleaned up UI popups, duplicated landmark showcases, and avatar switching issues[/p]
