This update predominately focuses on a redesign of the Pirate Island arena, as well as general improvements to all maps.
There have also been a number of improvements to the mod editor. We have begun moving towards a single set of track pieces that can be re-textured at will. This will reduce development time on future new track pieces as well as allowing a greater range of freedom to choose how your track looks in the future.
The stone track pieces remain for this update but will be removed in Update 11.
We're now down to our last 100 items on the 1.0 TODO list. We're focusing on core game mechanics and UX at this point, rather than new game modes or maps which will come after 1.0.
The next few updates should make the game feel more like a "finished" build than a clunky alpha.
Once we have most of that work done we'll post an update on post-1.0 plans.
