Graphical overhauls, a new mechanic, and plenty of fixes! - AVAILABLE SOON

Hello everyone!

A heap of improvements will become available in A-Star Theft soon!

These improvements include:

- Graphical Overhauls

- Door Kicking

- Improved Usability

- A New Music Track

- Fixes For Unsual Issues

More work has been done on remaking the story, but no timeline can be shared yet. It will take some time, but remastered writing will better tell the intended story of Logan Huntborn and the crew.

I am aware of an issue where the pause screen is temporarily unavailable after exiting the equipment store. Waiting a few seconds before attempting to pause again usually solves the issue, but a solution is being developed.

A-Star Theft is getting improvements on many fronts, including revamped spritework and audio, a new tutorial, improved usability and tons of jank has been fixed!

  • Improved furniture graphics
  • Improved floor graphics and shading
  • Remastered ‘Escaping Snake’ music track in Action and Intimidation variants
  • Added a large variety of footstep sound effects, which vary depending on the ground material
  • Added sound effects for shooting paper
  • Added bullet air sound effect
  • Added more miscellaneous dialog lines
  • Improved some fire effects
  • Improved vault opening animation

  • Improved many aspects of Stealth gameplay to make the strategy more approachable
  • Improved settings menu interface and clarity
  • Improved settings menu gamepad navigation
  • Added different images for locked and unlocked doors
  • Added animation to markers when entering a restricted area
  • Changed frequency of dodge leaping
  • Improved walking collisions with angled objects

Great update coming soon! - Version 1.3 (Beta available)

Hello everyone!

Version 1.3 is right around the corner.

Containing bux fixes, ease-of-use improvements, graphical polish, stealth upgrades, and a new tutorial, this update will help both new and experienced players navigate the mechanics easier than ever.

Key improvements include:

- Improved stealth gameplay

- Easier interaction with objects

- Polished graphics and added sound effects

- Redesigned tutorial mission

- Bug fixes and miscellaneous additions

An early version of the update is available for public beta testing
To enter the beta - Open the game properties on Steam, select the Betas tab, and click on "public-beta" in the drop-down menu.
