Open beta testing is coming!

Hello everyone!

As you might know Live Motion Games hosts a variety of interesting projects that we are proud to work on.

We are happy to say that day by day we make progress on each of them getting closer and closer to the release date of each of the particular games we work on. Our teams are busy as bees, as they say, but the enthusiasm within them is steadily growing - easily translating into creation of many great features that you will be able to test soon.

And speaking of testing - some of our projects still are accepting the sign-ups for the playtests that will happen directly on Steam. Below you'll find the list of games that are included in the play-tests project that will happen in future.

Builder Simulator - if you've ever dreamed about creating your very own house, exactly as you would like it to be then dream no more - Builder Simulator will allow you to do just that. It's a game dedicated to each of you who find joy in creation and execution of your own ideas. After all in the game you'll be able to go through every step of the construction process.

Chernobyl Liquidators Simulator - is a project where we tackle the topic of the catastrophe that happened in Chernobyl in April, 1986. We are approaching the topic seriously and realistically - no monsters in game but instead you will have to work hard in order to contain the radiation, complete your tasks as Liquidator and work for the sake of others.

Builders of China - our take on the management type of game where you will be responsible for the well-being and development of different Chinese settlements. Your decision will influence establishing trading outposts, growth of the population and research in new technologies. Will you hold to the Mandate of Heavens?

Supermarket Manager - if you ever wanted to manage your own Supermarket - here is a chance for you. You'll be tasked with many duties including hiring your own employees, equipping the market or developing your store. Create the market you can!

Currently we are happy to say that playtests for Chernobyl Liquidators Simulator will happen soon and shortly after them tests for Builder Simulator will follow. You might then expect our other games listed above to follow the suit in foreseeable future.

We invite you all to join the playtests - it's a great opportunity to check the games before release and influence the way they are developed. We'll be looking into your feedback as much as possible when deciding on further functions and features. We'll also make sure to eliminate all bugs your reports will bring to light.

Thank you for your continuous support. We are blessed to have such a great community and we hope to bring you the best games!

Kind regards,
Live Motion Games

Supermarket Manager - Devlog #8 - ”Equipping your Supermarket”

Hello Managers!
So you would like to kick-start your Supermarket but you're lacking the equipment to do that? No worries, we've got you covered!
You've secured the place and even renovated all the elements that warranted repairing and fixing - great! Now comes another fun part of owning your own business - making sure that it is properly equipped! In case of Supermarket this might mean variety of things but let's focus on the easiest part - purchasing machines and furniture necessary for your establishment to flourish into a highlight of the city!

You'll be able - depending on the state of your finances - to purchase additional equipment - shelves, baskets, trolleys in order to make the shopping as comfortable for your customers as possible. Of course, Supermarket needs cash registers so those would be also available to purchase for you. As you can see you'll be also able to select from a wide choice of them - finding the one that would suit your own market best. Check their prices, colours and shapes to make sure that your decision is wise!

Of course buying one might not be enough so purchase several of them! You'll need employees to man them but we've already talked about that in the devlog focused on employees and by now you know the drill! Of course everything costs money - that's how this world functions - so make sure to take into an account your overall budget and financial opportunities. Will it be okay to purchase whatever you want right now or perhaps in future? Maybe there is something more important that requires buying right now?

Being Manager is making decisions - a lot of freedom but also hands full of responsibility! Take care!

Best regards,
Supermarket Manager Team

Supermarket Manager - Devlog #7 - ”Own it, fix it, make it!”

Hello Managers!
Beginnings are often very difficult - remember though that good results come to those with good effort!
At the start of the game your market might resemble a site of some kind of tragedy even after just building it. Water leaking out of unfinished pipes, destroyed shelves and old products rotting in the corner, walls falling apart at the slightest touch... this all might be your reality in few first seconds after getting your own place however you should not start crying yet! Your fate is in your hands and so is the fate of the Supermarket! Get ready for some hard work fixing the place so it looks the best even to the most careful inspectors!

Let's get some new wall paint and change the shelves, then let's fix all the areas where it seems like time has struck and renovate it. All the boxes randomly laying around need to be rearranged and placed in their rightful corner or perhaps even thrown away? Needless to say we need to sweep the floors and make sure that all the equipment is usable - if it's not we'll need to throw it away and buy something new. All depends on you!

Ah, now that's much better. Products neatly arranged on new shelves, some great posters and signs showing what kind of products will our customers be able to find in this particular alley. There is still some work to be done here but it looks much better than it used to. And that's the gist of it - small steps will take you higher and higher you simply cannot stop making them!

You'll have to do your best in many areas but we know you can do it!

Best regards,
Supermarket Manager Team

Supermarket Manager - Devlog #6 - ”Employment opportunities!”

Hello Managers!
While you're busy catering to your customers and making sure they're happy you cannot forget about the other important group of people - your employees!
HR Managers might know that the best but managing people is a difficult task. You always need to be careful what you say, how you behave, what kind of motivation system should you employ and so on. And it all starts very early - when you're selecting a right candidate for the job you need to be able to discern whether a person trying to get a job would be an asset for your Market or... perhaps you should keep looking.

When hiring employees you will definitely need to check what skills they have. Obviously, some people are more suited to a particular type of job, while others would excel at something different. Employee profile will allow you to check important details such as experience, skills and salary that the person applying is expecting. What do you think would be the best job for Victoria? You can check her profile on the screenshot above.

If you have several employees that are similar to each other you might want to check their salary expectations. As they are different it might be important to hire someone who would love to work for you for a lower wage than someone who is demanding riches! However be mindful - sometimes the employees might have more than one skill and seem valuable but if you will hire them for a wrong position it will not be too good for you. Experience is also an important factour. If you're dealing with someone who is just starting you might expect that some degree of on-site training will be mandatory while veterans might be able to start the job just fine!

Employees will be the vital factour for the success of your Supermarket - don't ever brush them off!

Best regards,
Supermarket Manager Team
