Happy October! Here is a somewhat spooky proto-Filcher build from 2017

To celebrate the spooky season, I've released an old proto-Filcher build from 2017. You can read more and download it here:

1.0.2 is out!

* The game's framerate is now correctly capped to the Screen refresh rate.
* Added clickable yes/no buttons to dialogs. (To override the default "Yes" and "No" texts in language packs, add the items "UI.Common.Yes" and "UI.Common.No")
* Slight tweaks to the first-person head bobbing effect.
* The objectives/stats screen which is shown after completing or failing a mission now displays the mission's name.
* Fixed a small typo in a readable.

Filcher soundtrack available + vote for GOG release!

Hey everyone, a couple of things I haven't mentioned here:

Firstly, I recently released the Filcher soundtrack on YouTube and Bandcamp!

Secondly, I submitted Filcher to GOG.com way back in October but never heard back from them. However, someone added it to the community wishlist! (There is also a discussion thread.)

I guess I should point you towards it, as getting the game onto GOG could really help it reach a bigger audience. If you have an account, please consider pressing that vote button. Cheers!

  • Fixed a few grammatical errors...

  • On the briefing screen, the mission name now shrinks to fit its container (when using a custom language pack).
  • Added two missing text items for the briefing screen: "UI.Common.Mission" and "UI.Common.Prologue". Add these to your custom language pack if you want the text above the mission name to be translated (if excluded, the text will be shown in English as in previous versions).
