[/h3]Embarking on your quest for the very first time, the mysterious and notorious Sage Alby reluctantly shares wisdom from an ancient spell book, introducing you to the lost art of magic.

Harness the elements of fire, water and wind, learning the old ways of a magic outlawed by The Empire long ago! With a huge range of skills to learn, collect 'spell spheres' to trade with the Sage to unlock new spells.



[h3]Fight Side-by-Side With a Friend

Kitaria Fables features local co-op, and remote play via Steam! Team up with a friend, double your firepower and face the dark creatures & dangerous enemies of the wildlands.

Balance your party with the highly customisable loadout and combat mechanics; from sending in a point-blank heavy hitter while casting spells from afar, to flanking enemies hard with two close range bruisers, and more - the choice is yours!

[h3]Let's take a closer look at one of the first locations you'll encounter in Kitaria Fables. Upfield River on the outskirts of Paw Village! [/h3]

The world of Kitaria is vast and varied. One minute you’ll find yourself scaling snowy mountains, the next in secret lakes, hidden deep in lush forests.

The first place to familiarize yourself with upon arriving to Paw Village is Upfield River. Surrounded by different fields and plains, your first task in this area is recovering Timmy’s lost backpack.


[h3]Field Foes[/h3]
Timmy lost his pack as the local creatures have been acting strange and increasingly hostile. You’ll need to be careful of the roads ahead, which are teaming with a variety of foes.


[h3]Snatch and Grab.[/h3]
You’ll need to fight your way through the swarm of bees and orcs at Byriver Field in order to find Timmy's lost bag. Then it’s back to Paw Village to hand it in!


[h3]Where to, Nyanza?[/h3]
From here, your adventure will take you beyond Paw Village and Upfield River. Will you head into the Forest Sanctuary next? Farm yourself some rare drops from the local creatures? Or give your hand at a spot of farming? That choice is entirely up to you.

[h3]Trust In Your Sword
[/h3]

Your starting weapon seems meagre at first, but can grow to become one of your strongest companions. Fully upgradable via the Smithy’s found around the world, as well as variants looted from fallen foes and found in secret chests, your sword is the bread and butter of combatting the wilds. From simple upgrades like damage and penetration, to status effects and crit multipliers. Skills can also be assigned to your sword as they are learned, allowing you to perform some unstoppable combos.

[h3]A Good Defence is the Best Offence
[/h3]

Attacking isn’t all you’ll need to master to be victorious in combat. Often a single blow from a foe is enough to down our adventurer, so a well-timed tactical roll not only saves you from damage, but opens up your enemy to attack. Keep on your toes!

[h3]Pick Them Off From Afar!
[/h3]

Melee combat not your thing? Keep your distance and crush your foes from long range! Bows, much like your sword, can be upgraded to more powerful variants at the Smithy, as well as found scattered around the world. Whether it’s a charged shot, raining from above or some rapid fire – the bow also has a range of skills that can be assigned to give you the edge in combat.

[h3]Lookin’ Good As New![/h3]

Whether it’s an upgrade to a piece of gear or crafting something entirely new – there’s always a reason to visit the Smithy. From crafting new armour raising your hit points and defence, to backpieces, helmets and accessories sporting an array of different stat bonuses – there’s a combination for every play style.

Every foe in Canoidera drops valuable, and sometimes rare, ingredients or crafting components. Store these in your inventory back on Thunerbunn Farm to begin saving for your next big upgrade.
