Patch 1.05 ( Squad AI & Map Renovations )

Greetings Everyone

This patch brings some exciting new changes to the map, a whole new way for attackers to maintain cover while rappelling, and many improvements to our squad AI based on your feedback.

    [h3]Residential House & Hotel Trouble have received new additions and changes to further enhance PvP gameplay dynamics.[/h3]

    For Residential House, we’ve added several new vents that attackers can use to gather intel with their drones before entering. These vents can also be used to throw grenades to the other side, creating some intense moments. We’ve also added a spiral staircase entry to the 2nd floor from the backyard, along with a few smaller tweaks.


    For Hotel Trouble, we’ve added two new scaffoldings that attackers can use to rappel and enter the 3rd and 4th floors, adding more dynamics to PvP. Additionally, we’ve made one of the elevators go down to the parking area as well.

    [h3]Changing between rappel stances[/h3]

    You can now turn upside down while rappelling. Press the crouch button, "C" by default, to toggle between the two stances. You won’t be able to change stance too close to either edge of the rappel, whether moving up or down. When in the upside-down stance, you'll automatically switch back to the normal stance when reaching those edges. Please note, we are looking to further improve the upside down stance with later patches. You can also throw grenades through windows without them bouncing back due to the glass.

    [h3]Improved Squad AI[/h3]

    Squad AI has received several improvements. You can now command your squad to "Move & Clear" by using the planning table. Right-click to set a marker, and using the yellow objective marker will command your squad to move and clear to that location. This update allows your squad AI to open doors on their own. We’ve also worked to fix several frustrating issues, like your squad pushing you or not stacking up and breaching in the correct spots. We aim to bring even more improvements in the future.

[Some Note]
  • Some weapon textures may take time to load now, so you may see black texture initially and the texture will load eventually within 2-4 secs
  • We have implemented the localization system in the game already but have kept it disabled as it currently uses auto translations, we are waiting for the official translations, which will take till October 2nd week
  • You are able to refill your mags from the MS Unit van. You will have to walk in the back side and then move out.
  • More fixes and features are to be implemented with the next patch.
  • With this new weapon texture loading system the game will be using less RAM, less loading time and even help get more FPS. This system now also allows us to add more aesthetics without memory leaks.

Exciting News: Our Roadmap is Here!

Greetings everyone!


You didn't think 1.0 was the end, did you?

With the release of Version 1.0, we've made significant updates to Zero Hour. We have introduced two new maps—Critical Response and Cocktail Crisis—along with significant gameplay upgrades, including a new stamina system, adrenaline kit, and updated door mechanics. We've also added a downed state with revive capabilities to give players a second chance the heat of battle. Additionally, squad AI, weapon audio, and match point systems have all been enhanced, along with numerous other miscellaneous fixes to improve overall gameplay.

What's coming next: We're excited to bring even more to the game, and here are some highlights. Players can expect in-game collectibles, localization, the ability to use medkits on teammates, and a Replay Mode for both Co-Op and PvP. Future updates will also feature extended mag attachments, a remade hostage mode for PvP, and a paid DLC for Co-Op (free in PvP). Stay tuned for more exciting updates!

Our First Big Tournament

Greetings Everyone!




We're excited to bring you our first major tournament with a prize pool of $1500 and with additional rewards for the runner-ups. Whether you're a seasoned player or a competitive one, this is your chance to prove your skills and compete for first place.
Without any further ado, lets jump in to the details.

General Information
  • The tournament will be streamed live on our streaming platforms (Twitch, Steam, and Discord).
  • All teams are allowed to stream the matches with at least (3 mins) Delay.
  • There will be a professional commentator on all matches.
  • All anti-cheat and bug-exploiting systems will be implemented, including real-time spectators from the Zero Hour Dev Team.
  • ⚠️ Team Leader is responsible for the prize and how it's been distributed and delivered to his team members.

  • Opening registration for applications Thursday, 19th of September
  • Closing registration for applications Thursday, 3rd of October
  • Announcing the bracket and teams, Friday, 11th of October
  • First round of matches (Playing Time), Saturday, 12th of October & Sunday 13th of October
  • Announcing the qualified teams, Monday, 14th of October
  • Second and final round of matches (Playing Time), Saturday, 19th of October
  • Announcing the 1st and 2nd place winners, Monday, 21th of October

[h3]Team Composition & Players [/h3]
  • Each team will consist of five players. (+ One backup player - Optional)
  • Each team must have a team lead to serve as point of contact for the team.
  • Every team leader must fill in the form with each player name.
  • All team members must have Discord accounts.
  • Each team will have to fill only one form with his team names.
  • If there is a player whose name is repeated in two forms, the second will not be counted.
  • All players must be 16+. (any player under this age, the whole team will be disqualified)
  • Stable internet is required. Players with consistent lag or disconnects may be forced to forfeit the match.
  • No team changes are allowed once the tournament begins.
  • ⚠️The match can start as long as four players from the team are present. If there are only three or fewer players, the team will be disqualified.


[h3]General Rules and Matches[/h3]
  • The tournament administration has the right to decide outside or even against the rules in special cases to guarantee fair play.
  • Best of 5 rounds for each map for total of 2 maps. (Residential house, Hotel trouble)
  • Additional map might be played if there was a tie between the two team. (Embassy raid)
  • Maps are pre-selected by the Dev Team.
  • Stable internet is required. Players with consistent lag or disconnects may be forced to forfeit the match.
  • In case of server issues, matches can be paused.
  • No offensive language, harassment, or toxic behavior.
  • ⚠️ Any form of cheating or exploiting bugs will result in disqualification for the whole team.⚠️
  • Teams must be ready at the specified time.
  • A grace period of 15 minutes will be allowed before automatic forfeiture.
  • No unauthorized spectators or coaches unless permitted by the Zero Hour Team.
  • Teams are allowed to stream, but must enable a delay (3 minutes) to prevent stream sniping.
  • If a player disconnects mid-match, the game may be paused. (Player is allowed to re-join in duration of 5 mins)
  • Teams may use one substitute if needed but must inform the organizers in advance, and his name must be on the form. (Can only join between rounds)
  • Each team should record the full match from their side, in case it's needed. (Optional)

  • Game Mode: TDM/Bomb
  • Selection time: 45 secs
  • Prepare time: 1 minute
  • Round time: 6 minutes
  • First to win: 5 Rounds
  • Anti-cheat protections: On
  • Competitive lighting: On
  • Competitive Breaker switch: On
  • High Ping Restriction: On
  • First round of Matches will be on (Residential house, Hotel trouble) and the (Embassy raid) if there was a tie.
