Patch 3 which just released for Manor Lords is packed with new features, performance improvements, and balance updates:

Fishing System: Fishermen can now cast their nets in Shoals of Fish that appear in ponds. Fish multiply in spring, but beware of winter freezes! Unlock the Winter Fishing branch to keep your fishermen busy year-round.
Butchers & Food Spoilage: Butchers now convert surplus livestock into meat, and with the new spoilage system, certain foods, like fish, spoil faster than others. Salt deposits can now be used to make sausages, which last longer.
Crossbows & Huntsmen Mercenaries: Craft crossbows at the Bowyer’s Workshop and equip them to your militia, or hire the new ranged Huntsmen mercenaries.
Production Limits & Reserves: Set limits for production and prioritize key resources like shields or bows to stay ahead of the demands of battle and survival.

Manor Lords update adds fishing and crossbows to the medieval city builder

It's been a big year for surprise hits - Black Myth Wukong, Satisfactory, Once Human, and Palworld number just some of the biggest games on Steam in 2024. One such delight is Manor Lords, the medieval city builder and strategy game from Polish developer Slavic Magic and indie publisher Hooded Horse. Making a big splash at launch, it's continued to grow, and has just passed another huge sales milestone. To celebrate that, a new Manor Lords update is here packed with fresh features, quality-of-life improvements, an engine upgrade, and sausages.

Manor Lords just got discounted to its cheapest Steam price yet

There are few games that have come out this year and attracted quite as much attention as Manor Lords. The debut from lone developer Slavic Magic, Manor Lords may still be in Early Access, but it's already one of the most extensive medieval life simulators to date, even unfinished. With settlement building systems like those found in Frostpunk 2 or Cities: Skylines 2, army management in the style of a less involved Total War: Medieval, and battles reminiscent of Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord, the game is an ambitiously and already successfully realized vision. And now's the perfect time to play it for yourself as it's just received a substantial discount that lowers it to its cheapest price on Steam yet.
