Content Update 9: Map Update, Automatic Repairs in External Depots and many more



The City Bus Manager Content Update 9 is now available for all users!

Highlights:
  • Automatic repair in external depots added
  • Update of the map data to August 2024
  • 600 million new buildings added to the map, especially in UK and USA (Thanks to GeoSci for the support!)
  • Hotels added as points of interest, which also have an impact on passenger numbers
  • New objectives in the scenario editor: ‘Transport passengers to a specific location’ and ‘Transport passengers to a specific type of location’
  • ‘Allow line changes within a shift’ can now be set individually for each timetable
Map:
  • Bollards that can be passed by buses can now be driven through
  • Corrected positions of some airports
Routes & shifts:
  • Fixed a bug where passengers never boarded at the start stop
  • Fixed a bug where passengers did not board the correct bus
  • Fixed a bug that caused 0% network coverage to be displayed in the statistics
  • Fixed a bug where some routes were still displayed on the map even though the route was never built
  • Fixed a bug where the coverage of stops was not displayed correctly in certain cases
  • Fixed a bug that caused the shift plan to be unlockable in scenarios, even though it should have been researched from the start according to the scenario settings
  • - When building a public service line or event line, the relevant POIs are now highlighted in a larger size
Events:
  • Multiple rail replacement transport events can now take place simultaneously
  • Rail replacement services can no longer start and end at the same stop
  • Rail replacement services now only take place at stops that can be reached
  • If the bus is being cleaned during a bus hire request, the cleaning staff will no longer be abducted
  • Fixed a bug that prevented shuttle orders from being completed
Buses:
  • When assigning a shift, the system now calculates exactly whether a bus has enough fuel for the shift
  • Fixed a bug where the exit animation for modding right-hand drive buses was not working correctly
  • Fixed a bug where the bus details were not displayed when a bus returned from a shift
  • Fixed a bug that caused buses to clone themselves in rare cases
Employees:
  • In external depots, the current workload is now displayed for employees (instead of stress, which is not relevant for external employees)
  • Fixed a bug that caused training to be free for employees
Technical bug fixes:
  • Fixed a bug under MacOS where you only had a black screen in full screen mode
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the game to freeze when extending the map
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the game to freeze in rare cases when loading ‘Load navigation data’
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the game to stay paused forever in rare cases
E-Bus & Green Energy DLC:
  • Corrected power consumption of the eCitaro
  • Fixed a bug in the calculation of the required range for a shift in the shift schedule
Other:
  • Added support for right-to-left languages
  • Fixed a bug where the opening hours in the Service Centre were not saved in certain cases
  • Various translation errors fixed
  • Updated Unity to 2022.3.44
