We are thrilled to share that our brand-new Steam-exclusive Animaze Plus/Pro 23 DLC lifetime products are making their debut earlier this year! We have some exciting news for you as well. This update will make you fly away with joy, as the Animaze characters can now attach wings!

Check out more in the Changelog below:

• added Overrides controls to Animaze API.
  
• tweaked Auto-blink Overrides smoothing; added the option to change the smoothing making it possible to do near-instant blinks.
  
• added Ultraleap scale sliders for all axis.
  
• camera FOV change now can be applied on the 3D skybox as well (2D scenes are not affected as the backdrop is in screen space).
  
• fixed breath and physics wrong interaction on Live2D models.
  
• fixed the issue for canceled Steam subscriptions where users lost their subscription perks.
  
• added the Carryables props category to all eligible avatars (VRM, Ready Player Me, and a subset of Animaze avatars). The category includes wings, jetpacks, and a chair backrest.
  
• added hovering idle animation to the Mannequin (animations available for all VRM and RPM avatars out of the box).

PRO TIP: The wings props work best with the flying idle animation, so check it out in the Animations drawer.

We've also updated the Editor with the following:

• fixed the crash that occurred when importing static props (no skinned meshes)
  
• added rotation offset for attachment slots + fixed gizmo display issue
  
• fixed wrong texture path save for materials with Live2D models (hybrid avatars)
  

You can also adjust the Advanced 3D-body motion to make the avatar move around more.

We have tweaked the Animaze 22 Plus/Pro DLC one-time-payment in-app page to reduce ownership confusion:

1. the purchase button now has been renamed to "Visit Steam Store Page" and opens the Steam store page (in the Steam overlay) of the DLC in question, this way you can check ownership directly through Steam's store page system.
   
2. the UI will show "Owned and Installed" if the DLC is owned and also downloaded. If you own the DLC but don't have it installed/downloaded, the "Owned and Installed" button becomes "Visit Steam Store Page". You can activate the DLC by going to Steam Client, right click on Animaze, going to Properties, going to the DLC tab, check the DLC you want to activate.
   

The safest way of checking if you own the Animaze 22 Plus/Pro DLC is to either navigate to their store pages in Steam Client (should show "In library" if owned), or the Properties > DLC tab of the app in Steam Client (should appear in the list).

As a reminder, the Animaze 22 Plus/Pro DLC is a separate application, a version of the base Animaze application with subscription perks, features, and content received until August 2022 (critical bug fixes have been and will continue to be pushed).

The Animaze 22 Plus/Pro DLC app can be launched with a couple of options:

• Go to Steam Client and launch Animaze. You'll be prompted with two launch options: Animaze (which is the freemium subscription-based app) and Animaze 22 Plus/Pro which is the DLC app (one-time purchase version)
  
• Navigate to /Animaze2022/Bin/ folder and run AnimazeDesktop.exe.

We are releasing a very special build today, with a lot of surprises for all you tinkerers out there:

• added Animaze API that enables 3rd party apps or hobby developers to control certain functions (e.g. load avatar) or get certain info (e.g. list of ready to use avatars) of/from the Animaze Desktop application. See docs here!
  
  
• added a Programmable Tracker that enables 3rd party apps or hobby developers to directly retarget their tracking data on the Animaze avatar (Animaze 3D, Live2D, VRM, Ready Player Me, GLB). See docs here!
  
  
• adjusted avatar spawn location behavior that fixes undesired spawn positions for scenes prepped for Animaze Rooms.
  
  
• fixed Live2D props misplacing when loading Quickscenes.
  
  
• added support for eye angle ranges for VRM models (see VRoid Studio Eye Alignment options).
  
  
• added Camera Transitions for Quickscenes.
  
  
• added Frame Transitions (fade and two dissolve anims) for Quickscenes.
  
  
• moved Webcam settings to a separate settings tab.
  
  
• VMC Tracker now supports camera transforms, you can start using Animaze as a Virtual Production setup with a hand controlled (by external device) render camera.
  
  
• fixed Ultraleap retargeting in Animaze Rooms.
  
  
• fixed issue with generic idles which disabled head and body tracking (for all 3D avatars, previously it was fixed for VRM/RPM).
  
  
• extended Quickscenes generation to more than 10 slots. You can now create virtually infinite Quickscenes. Quickscenes over the initial 10 slots can be triggered through Stream Deck or Animaze API.
  
  
• added 9 more animations to the Mannequin (animations available for all VRM and RPM avatar out of the box): 3 walking cycles and 6 sitting idles.
  
  
• updated the Live2D SDK.
