JDM: Rise of the Scorpion is a free prologue to the upcoming racing game JDM: Japanese Drift Master which will appear in the summer of 2024! This one and only introduction to the world of the JDM will let you get back behind the wheel and drift through the winding roads of the Japanese countryside. New content awaits all of you who played the demo version. Undiscovered parts of the map, but also a story presented in the form of hand-drawn manga panels.

The prologue introduces the origin story of rebellious high schooler Hatori ‘Scorpion’ Hasashi. Raised in a traditional Japanese family, he was pressured to be the best student and baseball player. But he will find his biggest ambition on a racing track. See what challenges Hatori will have to go through to reach the top.

The prologue brings in new roads and areas in addition to the ones you could see in the demo version of JDM. Courses, turns, and speedways will test your skills as a driver. Reach new heights and learn the best ways to take on the charming but challenging Japanese streets.
[h3]Characters and storylines[/h3]
Hatori gathers around himself a group of people who support him, like his girlfriend and car enthusiast Aoi, school friend Ayumi with whom he trains racing, and Kaori, an artistic girl working in a nearby paint shop. But his arrogance and honor attract enemies. Satoru quickly becomes a rival not only at school but also on the track.

JDM: Rise of the Scorpion will follow the story of Hatori ‘Scorpion’ in a unique way. Cutscenes in the form of hand-drawn manga panels will add something more to the classic racing game narrative. This way, you will be able to experience the tale of how the Scorpion has risen up and earned his place as the best hashiriya.

In the prologue, you can cross roads and conquer courses with a brand-new vehicle model that wasn’t available before. Step on the gas and see what Scorpion’s car is capable of. Use it to race against Ayumi, Satoru and other opponents in their specially adapted cars.
