Bugfix:
  • Fixed the bug that the cargo texture of the Traffic Monitor may displayed incorrectly.
  • Fixed the bug that the Traffic Monitor in Blueprint Mode may triggered an error report.


Changes:
  • Modified the collision detection logic between the Conveyor Belt and the Trafic Monitor.
  • Modified the some English translation in Traffic Monitor UI.

In this patch, we are bringing you a new function: "Traffic Monitor". Literally, It will display the amount that cargo is passing through the production line. You will not only be able to monitor the passing radio by reading the number, but also hearing its alarm sound.

Features:
  • Added Traffic Monitor. You can build it on the conveyor belt to monitor the status of the production line.
  • Added Global Alert System. You can activate this feature to monitor the status of some buildings, for example, to see if the last smelter is working.
  • Add full icon option. You can select various icons for Blueprints, Conveyor Belt, Traffic Monitor, including alarm signals, items, recipes, technologies, upgrades, etc.
  • Added Global Alert function for Traffic Monitors.
  • Added Speaker function to the Traffic Monitors. You can configure alert conditions and other parameters.
  • Added 24 new tones to the speaker. This includes 5 alarms and 19 instrument sounds.


Changes:
  • After landing on a planet, the navigation line for the planet's direction will be automatically removed.
  • When exiting Dismantle / Upgrade Mode, the range operation (F2) will be automatically reset to a single point operation (F1) to prevent subsequent malfunctions.
  • If the plant is destroyed while building, there will be a special effect of destroying the plant.


Balance:
  • Changed the "Automated Maximum Stack" of raw materials from 20 to 4 in Matrix Lab manufacturing mode, while the maximum stack for manual operation remains unchanged. The purpose of the change is to accelerate the warm-up speed of the production line.
  • Change the "Automated Maximum Stack" of raw materials in each manufacturing plant from 5 times the recipe demand to 3 times, and the "Maximum Stack" of raw materials for manual operation of the smelter to 50 times. The purpose of the change is to accelerate the warm-up speed of production lines.
  • Increase the limit of the number of blueprint buildings in each mass construction level.


Bugfix:
  • Fixed the bug that the amount UI was wrong when using the Mining Machine to cover the veins in infinite resource mode. All UI displays under infinite resources mode were also modified.

Dyson Sphere Program Patch Notes 0.8.22.9331

Dear engineers,
It's almost the last 1/6 of 2021, and the season is changing. Dyson Sphere Program is also changing little by little, with the combat system development in progress.

Let's see what's in today's patch:

Features:
  • Added a new space navigation direction icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.
  • Added 4 new sound FX, including advisor pop-ups, tutorial pop-ups, and several UI sound FX.
  • Added the Kickstarter Reward - Cosmic Radio ( will be shown as Cosmic Message in game).

Changes:
  • The Random button for seed selection has been changed to Seed Increment. Players can now go back to the previous seeds more easily.

Bugfix:
  • Fixed the bug that the color of the shadow of some selected buildings may go wrong when the selected buildings are removed in Blueprint copy mode.
  • Fixed the bug that it was possible to build a conveyor belt between two tanks under certain circumstances.
  • Fixed the bug that the UI of Matrix Lab was out of form in English language.
  • Fixed the bug when the button to rotate the building is not the default button, the mining machine could't be rotated when ignoring the grid adsorption.

Dyson Sphere Program reaches 1.7 million units sold as the devs detail combat

Dyson Sphere Program proved to be a delightful take on the factory-building genre when it launched earlier this year, and that was reflected in its player counts. Now, the devs have announced that the game has reached 1.7 million copies sold, and provided the first details on what to expect from the upcoming combat system.


Combat is still in the early design phase, but will be focused on "defense, exploration, expansion, and extermination". (Looking forward to the '3X and a D' genre becoming a thing.) The devs hope to get "a huge number" of enemies attacking your base, and early bits of concept art show defensive turret structures. There will also be space-bound enemies of various challenge levels spread across the universe.


You will get the option to choose your combat difficulty, or turn it off altogether if you want a more peaceful building experience. Combat features are the big focus for the team right now, though they're not expect to launch until the second half of 2022 - in the meantime, the devs say you can still expect regular content updates in other areas.

Yesterday we updated our Achievement and Milestone system. Today, we revealed a bit about the combat system at the Tokyo Game Show. Our wish is to bring this highly anticipated system to you as soon as possible.

However, the combat system is a very large and complex content, which intersects and affects every branch of the game's system so we will need a lot of time to justify, produce and polish the battle system. We hope that the final presentation of Dyson Sphere Program's combat system will bring a different experience.

The combat system is expected to drop in the second half of 2022. But, don't worry, the game will not stop updating during combat system development. We will still continue to optimize the game and content updates.
