※The above MS is eligible for the Monthly MS Bonus Unit.
■Mobile Suit Features
・General unit with cost of 400.
・This prototype unit served as a base model for development of the Gelgoog,
which was to replace the Zaku II as a next-generation primary MS for Zeon forces.
・To counter the Federation’s Gundam technology, which had evolved into a significant threat to Zeon forces,
enhanced mobility was a major focus of development, and this unit was based on
a High Mobility Zaku (late model) with the model number R-2.
Additionally, a variety of parts from Zeon’s primary MS known as the Gelgoog, which was being developed
simultaneously under a separate line, led to the completion of this prototype in a very short period.
・Installing a new generator provided a significant improvement in output, enabling the successful development
of beam weaponry in a size suitable for MS use, a long-sought goal of Zeon forces.
But the simultaneous operation of multiple beam weapons proved challenging,
so the unit was equipped with a newly-developed beam rifle and reliable heat saber instead.
・During test operations, this unit achieved victories against Federation forces,
and the data obtained was utilized in the redesign of the Gelgoog.
As a result, it also came to be known as the “Gelgoog Prototype”.
・Can be deployed both on the Ground and in Space.
