Developed by Angela Games and published by Imperium Interactive Entertainment, the multiplayer war sandbox game Myth of Empires has officially announced that the Xizhou Civilization DLC will launch on March 21. A pre-order trailer has also been released. The Xizhou Civilization Pack is now available for pre-order on Steam, selling for $14.99 and a limited time 10% discount.

The Xizhou Civilization Pack includes a brand-new Xizhou map, a set of Imperial Fall devices, 4 types of functional vehicles, 9 sets of new armor, 16 unique weapons, 2 fine animal saddles, a set of unique building recipes, a construction bench, new consumable, and 3 types of smelting materials. Additionally, the Xizhou Civilization DLC will introduce a new Shah civilization growth system, where players can unlock different development paths based on their skills, gaining unique civilization bonuses.

[h3]Xizhou Map: A Land of Adventure, Danger and Opportunity[/h3]
The new map centers around deserts and oases, blending various factions and cultural elements to create a unique landscape and ecosystem. This region boasts distinctive cultural characteristics, but it is also a land of chaos, with multiple factions vying for control. The map is filled with hidden cave dungeons, such as lava caves, sandworm caves, and ancient tombs, where strange and deadly bosses lurk, tempting high-level players to take on the challenge. Through the main storyline, players can delve deeper, uncovering the secrets behind the Xizhou Civilization and earning rich rewards meant only for the bravest of adventurers.




[h3]New Era of Civilization: Automated Production + Four New Vehicles[/h3]
The Xizhou Civilization DLC not only introduces the exotic Imperial Fall building recipes but also brings the Imperial Fall automated devices, which integrate power generation, mining, transport, storage, and manufacturing functions. This system fully automates the resource production process, greatly improving efficiency. The four new functional vehicles will also redefine survival and combat strategies. The Desert Ship and Navigator serve as large land and water-based mobile platforms, supporting the placement of buildings, workbenches, weapons, and more. The modular design fully unleashes players' creativity and freedom, making them invaluable multi-functional mobile bases. The Mechanized Woodcutter is the first two-person functional vehicle, featuring high load capacity and exceptional gathering efficiency, offering strong practicality. The Mechanized Horse autonomously transports materials by following a programmed navigation path. When equipped with a Mechanical Crossbow, it can transform into a combat support unit, proving itself to be a versatile and indispensable asset.

In addition to the numerous ground camps scattered across the map, the Xizhou Civilization DLC introduces more Instance challenges and main quests. Players can explore underground caves filled with lava, sandworms, spiders, mushrooms, and ancient tombs, facing hidden dangers along the way. The ultimate goal is to conquer unique boss battles, such as the Giant Spider and Sandworm Lord, to earn special rewards. These dungeons not only test players' combat skills but also emphasize teamwork and strategic planning.









[h3]Base Game Update: Profession Change System + In-Depth Progression[/h3]
With the release of the Xizhou Civilization DLC, the base game will introduce several exciting new features. Once players reach level 40 and skill level 600, they can undergo profession change, unlocking five new professions, including the Imperial Guard, Berseker Battalion, Martial Archery Expert and more. Each profession comes with unique skills and talents, allowing players to choose their development path based on personal preference. Additionally, harvesting specific crops may yield Mother Plants with distinct skills and weaknesses, which can be cultivated to produce plants with superior attributes, optimizing farm output. Other new features, such as Martial Scripture Scrolls, horse grooming, Construction Bureau building, and zipline buildings, will offer even more customization options and fun gameplay experiences for players.

After the previous nine developer logs, you’re likely already familiar with the content of the Xizhou Civilization DLC. But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Along with the release of the Xizhou Civilization DLC, Myth of Empires will also introduce a series of new features and gameplay elements, such as profession changes, crop expertise, Martial Scripture Scrolls, construction bureau buildings, and zipline buildings. These additions will bring an even richer and more diverse gaming experience.



[h2]Next, let’s get an exclusive sneak peek at the new content coming with this developer log:[/h2]

[h3]1. Profession Change[/h3]
Five new professions will be available: Imperial Guard, Tiger Step, Berseker Battalion, Silver Wing Guard, and Martial Archery Expert.
a. Once the player's character reaches level 40 and a specific skill proficiency of 600, they can learn a new profession. Additionally, after meeting the required conditions, players can switch to and learn other professions in the profession change interface.
b. Professions can level up: While in an active state, using the corresponding weapon and equipment for a profession, players can earn experience points by defeating enemies.
c. Each profession skill has specific weapon and equipment requirements, and only by using the corresponding weapon for that profession can players unleash profession skills and trigger profession talents.
d. The number of equip-able profession skills and talents is influenced by the profession level. Each profession can equip up to 2 profession skills and 4 profession talents at the same time.

[h3]2. Crops Expertise[/h3]
A brand-new Crop Expertise system is planned to be introduced for six crop types: Wheat, Barley, Flax, Notoginseng, Rice, and Soybean.
a. When harvesting these six types of crops, there is a chance to obtain a corresponding Mother Plant. Additionally, harvesting these crops will also increase the corresponding Expertise Level for each crop.
b. Expertise Level affects: the total fertilizer discount value for dropping mother plants, the number of uses, and the entry skills (which vary in quality).
c. Mother plants have entry skills, but there are differences between them. By deploying the mother plant for sowing (this also applies when warriors plant crops), you can harvest crops that have the effect of the mother plant’s skills (excluding low-quality crops).
d. Mother plants can be cultivated: By breeding two different mother plants, you can create a new mother plant with different levels, entry skills, and weaknesses.

[h3]3. Martial Scripture Scrolls[/h3]
There are two types: Common Secret Scroll and Ancient Secret Scroll. The basic functions are described as follows:
a. Modification: For scrolls that have already been obtained, you can consume specific materials to randomly grant the scroll new attributes. Each modification will increase the modification proficiency, and reaching a certain proficiency level will upgrade the modification level.
b. Blessing: By consuming a scroll, its attributes can be attached to equipment. Additionally, depending on the modification level, when using equipment that has been blessed, the character will gain extra bonuses, in addition to the attributes granted by the scroll.
c. Consume: Using equipment that has been blessed with an Ancient Scroll, you can alter its smithing attributes and maximum durability through the consume process.
d. Reshape: Using equipment that has been blessed with an Ancient Scroll, you can change its level, appearance, and attack method through the Reshape process.

[h3]4. Construction Bureau Building[/h3]
The player’s character can act as a supervisor or hire a supervisor. By utilizing the construction bureau buildings, warriors can take over certain tasks for the player, including gathering, transporting, crafting, farming, harvesting, recruiting and training, fishing, and more.

[h3]5. Zipline Buildings[/h3]
This includes two building components: the Slide Pole and the Zip Line Pole. By consuming iron chains, the two poles can be connected, allowing players to slide along the rope between the zipline poles using the Slide Pole. With this structure, players will be able to quickly reach their destination.

[h3]6. Horse Grooming[/h3]
In the stable, players can customize the appearance of their horses. This feature was introduced in the previous developer log, so interested players can refer back to it.
