Myth of Empires Price Adjustments Announcement

Dear players:

It has been over a month since Myth of Empires V1.0’s release. Thank you for playing the game! During this time, we’ve seen many old players return to the game to experience its new content, including the Dongzhou map DLC. The deep gameplay of Myth of Empires, with its high degree of freedom, has also won over many new players, but the price increase that came along with the V1.0 release has raised the threshold for many other new players to experience the game. In light of this, we have decided to make some adjustments to lower the barrier to entry:

Myth of Empires V1.0 currently comes at a price of $39.99, which gives access to the free Dongzhou map DLC. We plan to split the base game and the Dongzhou DLC into separate purchases, so that the base game itself will cost $29.99, while the Dongzhou DLC will cost $9.99. The price of the overall package remains the same.

With this adjustment, we aim to further expand the already vast world of Myth of Empires. We welcome you to invite your friends to check out the game.

In addition, stay tuned for a future announcement about a special Myth of Empires bundle to be released in commemoration of Imperium Interactive Entertainment and Angela Game’s fifth anniversary.

These carriages can be unlocked from the “DLC Recipes” menu once you’ve purchased the DLC and have reached the corresponding level requirement. Then, simply collect the required materials and craft them at a Carpenter’s Bench.

The Vermilion Carriage is unlocked at Level 30. It is pulled a single horse, and features three passenger seats and one driver’s seat.

The Dragon Carriage is unlocked at Level 40. It must be pulled by two horses, and features two passenger seats and one driver’s seat.

The Imperial Carriage is unlocked at Level 45. It must be pulled by two horses, and features three passenger seats and one driver’s seat.

Each of the three carriages can be outfitted with Simple Ballistas, Animal Cages, and cart-mounted ornaments (including Braziers, Censers, and Ice Containers). The Imperial Carriages Pack combines style with function, and gives players a whole new way to traverse the world of Myth of Empires.

Myth of Empires previously launched the Musical Instruments Pack, which includes 10 traditional instruments: the dizi, guqin, se, pan flute, pipa, sheng, suona, xun, konghou, and chime bells. These instruments can be unlocked from the “DLC Recipes” menu once you’ve purchased the DLC and have reached the corresponding level requirement, and are crafted at a Weapon Bench.

Myth of Empires Persia DLC Dev Log – Armor Sneak Peek

In our last dev log, we introduced some of the elements of the upcoming Greek Civilization DLC. In this dev log, we’ll show you some of the Persian Civilization DLC, which is being developed in tandem.

The Persian DLC is planned to be quite large in scale. First of all, the DLC will feature a comprehensive tech tree for this civilization. The additions go far beyond armor and architecture, and include production tools, modes of transportation, weapons of war, and more. This DLC will also include a brand-new map: The Western Regions. This map will feature unique landforms, environments, cultures, and more. New factions and creatures will also be added, giving players a whole new world to explore.

The Persian Civilization DLC and the Greek Civilization DLC are being developed in parallel with one another. Today, we’re going to show you some of the things we’ve started working on.

The armor of the Persian civilization has been a project of ours since before Myth of Empires V1.0’s release. Some players may remember seeing it at the tail-end of the trailer.
Like the rest of the armor in our game, we conducted historical research in our efforts to bring this armor to life. This armor mainly consists of chain mail covered with a breastplate and leggings. It has a silver, blue, and white aesthetic, with an exquisitely decorated helmet and pauldrons. This armor has a very intimidating aura about it.

The Western Regions map, which will be released alongside the Persian civilization content, will also include elements of regional cultures, including the Xiongnu and other factions of the Western Regions. These factions will have their own unique appearances, weapons, and villages. As an example, the Western Regions militia set exhibits strong multicultural characteristics, including decorations such as brilliantly-rendered silk and cotton, while incorporating elements of various styles. The costumes and weapons of these civilizations will also make their way into the crafting tree, allowing players to make and wear them.

At the same time, the armor sets of each faction are divided into different tiers representing the class differences of those factions. For instance, the Xiongnu bandit set puts a premium on flexibility and mobility, using a colorful mixture of leather and chain armor to provide protection. Meanwhile, higher-level bandits are equipped with more ornate helmets, bracers, and greaves.

The above armor sets are just part of what we’ve been working on for the Persian Civilization DLC. We plan to release this DLC along with the new Western Regions map toward the end of this year, with the previously-mentioned Greek Civilization DLC arriving sometime around July. In the meantime, let us know what you’d like to see in these DLCs in the comments below, or on our official Discord channel: discord.gg/mythofempires.

Till next time!
