FAQs about Myth of Empires Season 2

Hello, everyone. We have sorted through and answered some of the most frequently asked questions about Myth of Empires Season 2. You will find these answers below. Thank you for supporting Myth of Empires!

I. How can I claim rewards from Season 1?
1. The rewards for reaching 100,000 points in the season can be claimed now. Press ”i” to open the Season interface, then click the reward to claim it.
2. The Season 1 Guild Points Ranking Top 10 reward can be claimed once Season 2 starts.
3. After Season 1 ends, players will get season points that they can exchange for rewards on Season 2 servers. Pop into the game once Season 2 starts to see which specific rewards you can get! In addition to season points, you’ll also get season contribution, which you can use in Guild Shops on official servers to get rewards, as well.

Important: Players using the Steam client version of the game will need to bind an International Edition account, otherwise they will not be able to claim rewards.

1. Character EXP acquisition rate is lower on Season Servers than normal servers in Season Two. Won’t leveling up take longer?
As many players have noticed, leveling up in Myth of Empires is related to collection, crafting, etc. As a result, when collection rate is increased and crafting time is reduced, your character will actually accumulate EXP much more quickly. You’ll see what we mean when you play during Season 2.

2. Is there any change to the amount of Copper Coins from Boundary Markers?
In Season 2, the amount of Copper Coins from Boundary Markers is the same on Season Servers as it is on normal servers, but NPCs will drop Copper Coins at an increased rate. Currently, the Copper Coin drop rate multiplier is 10, which will be increased as the season progresses. Additionally, the Copper Coins required for learning skills will be reduced to 10% that of normal servers.

3. Are underwater tunnels still banned?
Don’t worry. Underwater tunnels are still banned in Season 2.

4. Guild and Player limit for alliances
An alliance can now consist up to 3 guilds, while the member limit is capped at 50.

5. Elephant and rhino buffs in Season 2
The HP and damage of elephants and rhinos in Season 2 have been greatly increased. We may tweak this more throughout the season depending on results and player feedback.

6. Will beast mounts be updated in Season 2?
According to our current update plan, beast mounts will be updated during Season 2. These mounts will be available on both Season Servers and normal servers. Stay tuned for an official announcement for more details.

7. Will there be events where we can get Renown in Season 2?
Every player who participates in Season 2 will get an initial Renown of 200,000. You also won’t need to worry about low Renown affecting your Nobility. As far as specific events go, stay tuned to official announcements throughout the season.

8. Will Combat Proficiency be changed in Season 2?
As mentioned in previous announcements, your character’s Combat Proficiency will increase as they level up. When your character reaches Lv. 60, your Combat Proficiency will be Lv. 900. There is no specific multiplier per se, however.

【2022.06.17th】Update and Maintenance Notice

We are focusing on the problems brought by players earlier and here are the changes included in this maintenance:

Newly Added:
1. Added 4 guild icons to the official server season tribute store
2. Added ranged recycle function for those to-be-removed counties
3. Added security password retrieval feature

Optimizations:
1. Optimized the tab icon of the season tribute store
2. Optimized the guide page of the Season Servers
3. Optimized the color bottom frame of the Top 10 guilds in the Season Server leaderboard
4. Adjusted the event time of Evergreen Tree and Sky Lantern in the Season Servers, and extended it to end at 16:00 on 20th UTC
5. Adjusted the display of items for Season Server Points’ Rewards and Ranking Rewards
6. Increased the Carry Weight by 5 times for the players on to-be-removed Counties
7. Adjusted Grand History (Simplified) to Records of the Grand Historian (Unabridged) in the server tribute store
8. Optimized the description of the source of the seasonal contribution points in the guild shop

Bug fixes:
1. Fixed the issue that it recycles the parcels on the ground when using the ranged recycle function on the to-be-removed counties
2. Fixed the problem that city walls and boulder city walls can be placed in the air
3. Fixed an issue that a player could log into both official sever and season server at the same time

Since the season server rewards include the outfit system, Steam users must bind their international server accounts before claiming. (Only need to bind the international server account, you can use the steam client to log in to claim the rewards)

Season 2 New Content and Adjustments

Myth of Empires - Season 2 New Content and Adjustments

Myth of Empires’ first season will end on June 20 at 16:00 UTC, and season servers will be shut down 24 hours later on June 21 at 16:00 UTC.
Season Two will begin shortly after the end of Season One. Season Two will feature gameplay adjustments that we made based on the feedback and suggestions we received from players during the first season. Of special note are the proficiency issues that players expressed their concern about, as well as the balance issues between offensive and defensive factions.
At the same time, we will also be adding beast mounts and dungeon challenges during Season Two. These changes will be made on both official, normal servers as well as the Season Servers.



I.Season Two Content Preview

1.Character proficiency level adjustments
We will be making major adjustments to character proficiencies. For instance, every time a character levels up, their proficiency level will increase 15 levels.

2.Proficiency skills can be learned directly
Characters will no longer need Skill Books to learn skills related to one’s proficiency level. Instead, they can be learned directly.


3.Proficiency level progress adjustments
For the first seven days of Season Two, level and proficiency caps will be 35 and 525, respectively.
From days 8 through 15, level and proficiency caps will be 45 and 675, respectively.
From day 16 onward, level and proficiency caps will be 60 and 900, respectively.

4.Boundary Marker protection mechanic adjustments
For Season Two, a new Boundary Marker protection mechanic will be introduced, and protection range will be increased to match the range of the decay prevention range, allowing for more flexibility in battle.


5. Alliance and guild limit adjustments
Each alliance now has a 50 player member limit. 

6. Initial Honor, building decay speed, and siege weapon adjustments
In Season Two, all players will start with 200,000 Honor. The decay speed of some buildings will be adjusted to 2%-4% per hour. The hit rate of Heavy Ballistas and Simple Ballistas when NPCs are assigned to them will no longer be 100%, allowing players to dodge them. The settings of Watchtowers have not been changed.

7.Elephants and rhinos have been buffed for Season Two. More details will be announced at a later date.

II.June and July Official Normal Server and Season Server New Content

1.All-new Siege Weapon: Celestial Cannon
The Celestial is a type of mortar whose usage dates back to the Ming Dynasty. This particular weapon fired projectiles containing pieces of iron, poison, and gunpowder. The main purpose of this weapon in the game is to destroy the enemy’s siege weapons.

2.Beast Mounts are Finally Here
The previously-announced beast mounts will be arriving in Season Two!


3.All-new NPC Challenges
In the main in-game world, there will be towns and forts guarded by NPCs. Players will be able to challenge these and work together to clear them out to get special drops.


4.Warrior Skills
Bandits too strong? Vagrants too weak? In Season Two, warriors will be able to learn skills, so players can more fully customize their followers to their liking.

5.Buffed Elephants and Rhinos
The effectiveness of elephants and rhinos against warriors in battle has been increased, making them into formidable weapons of war.
