Blog Post - Being Wicked Together

[p]Hey everyone,[/p][p][/p][p]It’s been a little quiet lately - because we’ve been rebuilding.[/p][p]As we move closer to our 1.0 release, the team’s been deep in the trenches polishing systems, testing some wild ideas, and pushing toward one of your most requested features: Co-op.[/p][p][/p][p]And yes, we’ve been playing Wicked a lot… to ensure that when this update launches, you’ll have exactly the experience we’ve always wanted you to have.[/p][p]
With No Rest for the Wicked, we’ve always aspired to change what multiplayer could mean in an ARPG: Not just “joining someone’s session temporarily”, but truly living together in the same world.[/p][p][/p][p]A world that remembers you - whether you started a realm or joined one. [/p][p]A world shaped by what you and your friends leave behind.
[/p]
What Co-op Really Means for Wicked
[p]We’ve always believed that the ideal multiplayer experience for ARPGs lies somewhere between how the genre traditionally handled co-op and how MMORPGs do: more social than what ARPGs have offered, but less restrictive than what’s possible within an MMO.[/p][p]
When someone joins your world in Wicked, they don’t just pass through. [/p][p]They become a citizen of your world, they help to shape it… and create memories within it.[/p][p]
Moments like your friend resurrecting you just in time to beat that impossible boss.[/p][p]Or you logging in one morning and finding them peacefully fishing at a pond.[/p][p]Your realm celebrating after you finally find that elusive item everyone wanted.[/p][p]Or your buddy finding a particularly creative way to troll you.[/p][p]
Those moments become stories you’ll tell forever - stories your realm remembers.
That’s what makes Co-op in Wicked different.
[/p][p]Because you’re playing on a persistent, shared realm, you and your friends aren’t just guests in each other’s games - you’re co-architects of a shared world that belongs to you.

[/p]
Trading and Teamwork
[p]Trading in Wicked grew from one simple idea: connection.[/p][p]You can walk up to any player and trade face-to-face, or drop items into shared chests that everyone contributes to.[/p][p][/p][p]It’s organic, unpredictable, and already creating the kind of stories we love: someone trading soup for armor, or gifting a rare weapon to help a friend survive.[/p][p]
Those moments aren’t scripted - they’re human.[/p][p]And we can’t wait to see what kind of wild co-op stories you all come up with.[/p][p]
[/p]
Our vision for you
[p]We’ve always tried to make worlds that feel alive and worth caring about. [/p][p]Co-op takes that one step further: Turning a single-player experience into something deeply personal between players.
[/p][p]When you rebuild Sacrament with a friend, it stops being the city and becomes your city.
When you fall in battle and they pull you back up, it’s not just survival, it’s connection.
When you share a home chest and find something new inside - a gift, a weapon, food - it’s a small moment of gratitude.
When you spend twenty minutes arguing about furniture placement, that chaos becomes part of your story.[/p][p]And when you log off and see the changes they made while you were gone, the world suddenly feels alive.
[/p][p]That’s the world we want to give you: One that proves games can still surprise you.[/p][p]Not because of what we script, but because of what you create together.
[/p]
Our Community
[p]You’ve been dissecting trailers, spinning theories, and catching every small detail we thought we could sneak past you - and we love it.[/p][p]Keep doing that. That's the best kind of pressure. [/p][p][/p][p]There’s even a fan-made FAQ \[https://tinyurl.com/2vp67tks] that covers everything from potential 1.0 plans to our stance on zero microtransactions.[/p][p]If you’re not on our Discord yet, now’s the time. It’s the best place to share feedback, ask questions, show off your favorite moments, or make new friends.
[/p]
What’s Next
[p]We know you all have been eagerly waiting for the Co-op update, and we’ll share the release date as soon as we can.[/p][p]Right now, we’re focused on tuning, polishing, and making sure your first session with friends feels unforgettable - the kind that keeps you up too late saying “just one more run!
[/p][p]Here’s a glimpse of four-player Co-op in action. [/p][p]It’s messy, heartfelt, and perfectly Wicked.
[/p][p][/p][p]In the meantime, keep exploring Isola Sacra, try new builds, and keep sharing your love with us!

See you in Sacrament,
– The Moon Studios Team[/p][p]

Early Access Patch Notes - Important update on The Breach Hotfix 7

[p]Hey everyone,

After yesterday’s launch of Hotfix 7, some players began running into various issues during extended gameplay. While this doesn’t affect everyone, we’ve decided to roll back Hotfix 7 for now so we can identify the root cause and ensure the game runs smoothly for all.

This also means the fix for the small group of players stuck on the Moon logo screen will be rolled back. If you’re affected by that specific issue, you can still access the fix on the Experimental branch, for the time being, using the Beta code: a409vH5xeuumhhs

Thanks for your reports and for your patience while we work on a stable solution![/p]
