Community Collaboration

Hi everyone!

First of all, we want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who's checked our demo. Thanks for playing the game, and thanks for all the feedback so far!

We are so grateful to be building such a wonderful community. As a game that’s kicking off with a demo and then going into an early access release, Fish Game is still very much in development, and we’re very much hoping for player feedback to help shape how we move forward. We already have a shortlist of features that we want to work on between early access and the 1.0 release (and there will be more about these features in another post later this week), but we’re excited to engage with our community to help shape the other changes we’ll be implementing.

Do you have a quality of life suggestion? Are you a seasoned fishkeeper and have noticed a fish species behavior that could be improved? If there’s something you’ve noticed in the game that you want to bring to our attention, we want to know! And we want to try to add community insights to our development plans. As much as possible, we want the direction of our development to be a collaborative endeavor that we formulate with our community. We want the game to be the most fun it can be to you, our players, and in order to achieve that, we’re going to need your input.

There’s a couple of ways you can give feedback, share your thoughts, start a discussion, and report any bugs that come up:

And of course, we’d love to hear from you on our socials. Feel free to tag us in your Fish Game posts!

While we won’t be able to implement every suggestion put forward, we’re going to do our best to take each one into consideration. The bigger our community, the more we’ll be able to do, so wishlist the game and grab a copy when it’s released in early access, on October 22. Tell your friends about the game, share some photos or videos of your tanks, and most importantly, leave some feedback so we can continue to do our best to make the game as great as it can be.

Again, thank you for your support, and welcome to the Fish Game community! We’re so excited to have you!
