Active pause and new territories are available!

Here's a full changelog of today's update 0.4.13:

- Added two new territories: Cape Verde and Mauritius.
- Implemented active pause. Now you can suspend the game at any time to build new routes, launch planes, upgrade infrastructure and so on.
- Now there are five save slots instead of three. You were asking for it, we made it.
- Fixed "That was close!" achievement.
- Now if you save with overcrowd timer active, the timer will not reset to 5 seconds but continue from the point it was on upon loading the save file.
- Some other minor fixes.

Upcoming achievements and improvements!

Here we'll post the list of almost 30 new achievements that will make their way into Fly Corp when it gets released from Early Access.

As you can see from their descriptions, we are working on several important features, including active pause and automatic plane spacing (will be optional).

"Own way"
Finish a game in Free mode.

"Edge of the world"
Unlock Antarctic in "Unlock the whole world" mode.

"Creator"
Create a custom scenario in Scenario Editor.

"A public figure"
Publish your custom scenario to the server.

"Scenario amateur"
Complete 5 scenarios from the public listing that are made by other players.

"Scenario expert"
Complete 10 scenarios from the public listing that are made by other players.

"A big luck"
Get three supersonic jets in one game.

"Maximum upgrade"
Get the maximum number of planes per route and fully upgrade them all.

"Millionaire"
Get more that 1 million credits in "Unlock the whole world" mode.

"Big distance"
Create a route that is over 7,000km long.

"Reviewer"
Rate a scenario created by another player and published in the public listing.

"Transport hub"
Create more than 20 routes from one city.

"Lack of time"
Successfully complete the scenario when there is less than 10 seconds left before loss.

"Racing against time"
Unlock territories earlier than expected in "Unlock the whole world" mode and get more than 40 minutes to unlock the next one.

"Restructuring"
Remove more than 7 routes in one game session.

"Debtor"
Get more than negative 5000 credits on the balance.

"New record"
Improve your leaderboard score in a previously completed scenario.

"Calculated"
Launch the second place the way it'll end up being in the opposite point to the first one.

"Time for management"
Make more than 10 actions when on active pause.

"This was not planned"
Unlock a country that was not supposed to be the next one in "Unlock the whole world" mode.

"Large territories"
Unlock Canada, Russia and China among 30 first territories in "Unlock the whole world" mode.

"Full completion"
Complete 100% of the game. You can see the progress in the main menu.

"No way back"
Complete any scenario without using saves.

"Linear network"
Complete any official scenario (except for Daily mode) whily using no more than two routes per city.

"Active pause"
Successfully complete scenario while the game is on active pause.

"Budget flight"
Complete any scenario without upgrading planes.

"Resource economy"
Complete any scenario with a maximum of 1 plane per route.

"No time for modernization"
Complete any scenario without upgrading airports.

Patch 0.4.12 is available on Steam!

It resolved a few problems, in specific:
- Benin’s capital is now Porto-Novo, as is it in real life
- Fixed localization of the result of «Ad campaign» event
- Fixed a bug that rarely caused passengers not to leave an airport even if it’s full and there are all necessary routes
- Fixed inability to scroll through scenarios in 1024x768 resolution
- Fixed a bug that rarely caused a city to unlock in a locked country and overflow with passengers
- Other small fixes

We’d like to remind that recently we began testing the new update which features possibility to upload your own scenarios to the server and play scenarios by other players from the server. We invite you to try it out as well - the details are in one of the previous posts!

We're starting the open test of one of the largest updates in game's history!

It features the possibility to upload your own scenarios to the server and play scenarios created by others. They are filtered by ratings, popularity and upload date.

This way, creative people will have a possibility to attract players' attention easily. Meanwhile, players will get lots of new content.

There won't be unbeatable scenarios - author has to complete the scenario before uploading it.
We're starting the test in a closed Steam branch. To switch to this branch, right-click Fly Corp in your Steam library and click "Properties". There, go to Betas tab and enter the code "flycorppublictest". After that, switch to "public_test_ branch. Don't forget to switch back to the default branch after you finish taking a look at the test branch. If you don't, you won't be receiving updates for the game in the future.

This update will be released publicly with the general release of Fly Corp from Early Access, which is planned for May of 2023.

Minor update 0.4.11 fixes a serious bug

We released a minor patch 0.4.11 that fixes the way the game determines the next territory to unlock. Players complained about the bug that caused the next territory being the one that's already unlocked before.
