This is the week when the game comes out to Steam Early Access, specifically this Wednesday. This post should explain the functionality of the game and what is to come next.

Version 0.0.0 is the basis for upcoming game mechanics. I made the code and the functionalities to allow me to easily implement future mechanics to the game. This version is the start of the development of a new and unique project.

Functionality. What is the basis of the game:
  • Personal accommodation. This version will provide you an apartment to purchase. Decorate it completely to your taste. Various furniture will be available to you. Friendly mechanics of construction will allow you to design and decorate in a unique way. Lighting fixtures to illuminate the apartment. Set wallpapers and floors, and all this in real time.
  • Job. Get a job to earn money for your needs and for your home. The job is also performed in real time. You have to do all the work by yourself. Your income will be affected by how well you have done the job.
  • City. Explore the first available area in the city. Find a place to get a job and where to buy food and other things. All without loading screens.
  • The character have to satisfy his leaving need. Satisfy them so that the parameters are normal and to prevent the death. You live only once. No respawns.


What we had to remove in this version:
  • Clothing store (will be added in the nearest update).
  • "The Newcomer" Game Mode. This mode allows player to start the game completely from scratch, no money and accomodation. Some kind of survival mode. It was removed because the mode did not match our standards. It needs more improvements. Also, more time will allow us to deepen this mode.


Next update:
  • "Creative mode". Allows player to fully immerse into the apartments design. You will have access to the entire furniture collection. No leaving needs and jobs.
  • New apartments to purchase.
  • Minor fixes.


FAQ (Frequently Asked): The game has no romantic relationship and no opportunity to have a family. The goal of the current version is to create a platform for future updates. In addition, the philosophy of the project is to make the most in-depth mechanics. Therefore it is necessary to approach this mechanics more consciously.

Month 1. Correction Work


There is one week left until the Early Access release.
I am going to become more active in the community hub and other areas and keep the community informed. I planned to be more active the whole time since the announcement, but the reality is a bit harder than expectations.
The game will reach a wide audience, it means that the new bugs will be found that have not been detected before. Serious work is now ongoing to fix the current ones. And so the first month will be spent on bugs and issues fixing. Your feedback will be useful for this time. During this time, I will collect and work on received feedbacks, to understand the direction of the project development. Planned updates are waiting to be added to the project. And the players will expand the list.
The advantage of early access is that the game is developing consistently and the focus is not on first release day. So you should expect inaccuracies and possible errors at the beginning.
And soon the game will be what many people dream about.
