Version 1.2 with a lot of news



First update patch! Here are some of the main fixes:

1) New animated backgrounds in the mountain maps and in the sky!

2) All reported bugs have been fixed, the main one being a crash in the final secret boss fight. The new version is very stable!

3) The entire game has been rebalanced! The mid-game is now easier, so you can choose between worlds 3, 4, and 5 out of order. In the old version, any battle in an advanced area was a death sentence.

4) Bosses now have resistance to negative status effects and immunity to poisoning, as it was reported that it made some bosses trivial. However, the late game is still balanced around your most powerful spells.

Thank you for playing Tropicalia and for your patience while these issues were fixed. As a solo developer, sometimes I need to step away from the project before diving back into it and finding it fun. And good news, I found Tropicalia fun, even as the creator, after all these changes!

I hope you do too! It's a classic RPG, a bit of grinding is part of it, but now the experience is much smoother!

Tropicalia: Complete Edition finally launched!



Took a while but arrived! The First bRPG of its name, the most anticipated tropical adventure of recent times!

What will you find here?

-A completely new adventure! One of the biggest complaints about the Early Access version is that the "Open World" style of the game wasn't very good, because the monsters got stronger with each new map, requiring a lot of grinding.

-So, I created completely new maps, this time in a little more linear way, for the difficulty progression to be smoother.

-Groups of monsters now only have 1 or 2 enemies. As you only control 1 character, encounters with many enemies became not fun, but boring.

-A new weapon, the boomerang! With it, you will have area attack much earlier in the game, helping in battles!

-A story! Finally, Kaique's adventure will have a beginning, middle and end. Save Pindorama from the Seven Great Monsters terrorizing the Villages!

Casual mode, now more casual

One of the differences between casual and hardcore, was that in the first, fewer monsters would come in the battles; and in the second, troops with more enemies.

However, at some point this system stopped working, and any group of monsters appears in any difficulty.

This frustrates anyone who wants to play casually, when they encounter 5 difficult enemies right away. They came across Hardcore mode and didn't even know it.

Anyway, I fixed this flaw and now you will notice that Casual Mode will have fewer enemies. And in Hardcore mode, it will be a rare encounter with only 1 enemy.
