Hello agents, it has been a moment since we spoke!

We hope you're all staying safe and warm as the cold rolls in, and are making the most of the autumn sale and steam award nominations (PLEASE EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN'T VOTE FOR KARMA IN THESE, SUPPORT THE COOLEST INDIE GAMES YOU KNOW!)

In news directly related to KARMA, the highly anticipated Taipei Indie Game Awards are back! This year, the competition saw entries from 340 indie devs across 52 countries. After an intense month-long pre-selection round, the list of finalists has officially been revealed today, with only 28 entrants making it through to the final.

We are delighted to reveal that KARMA: The Dark World was nominated twice. In Best Narrative and Best Visual Art categories.




We'd like to say congratulations and the best of luck to all of the other finalists. You can check out the full list here. - all fnatastic games with lots to love about them!

The final winners of the Taipei Game Show 2025 Awards will be announced on January 22, 2025 - so we'll hopefully be starting off the year with some exciting news to celebrate together!

Hello agents, a new trailer has just been distributed during the DreadXP Horror Game Showcase for your enjoyment. You may choose to watch it during your mandated 3 minute break today - additional break time privilege is not being permitted for this.

Those of you who have played through the demo will recognise some the footage in here, but we' hope the more keen eyed of you will spot a couple of new additions, and wonder exactly what they could add up to.

We are all but Lost Lambs after all... sometimes a little guidance is all we need.

As an aside, there's a small patch being applied to the demo that fixes the intensity an application of head bobbing / movement in some scenes where they were not displaying correctly. Thanks to those of you who flagged them up to us!

Next Fest is coming to an end, and we wanted to take a moment to the 20,000+ of you that stepped into the shoes of Daniel and tried your hand at being a Roam Agent!

We've got a couple of interesting stats based on your performance that you might be interested in if you're into the finer details :



We're aware not everyone bases their free time around digital events, so we're gonna leave the demo up for a couple more weeks after Next Fest ends, just to mare sure everyone gets the chance to take a brain dive and get some snapshot memories of their own!

We're not done with Karma hype this week though! Our ARG is about to hit the second step *soon*, our photo and statue comps are still ongoing - and if you're fiending for a new trailer after what you saw at the end of the demo - keep your eyes peeled...
