The Countdown Begins...

Hello everyone!

It's a huge week for everyone here - as we are 24 HOURS away from launch!

We've got some exciting things to share with you in this update - but before we get to it we also have a little bit of housekeeping.
Update your Game!
As mentioned yesterday we've been tracking frequently mentioned bugs and issues across your demo playtime. We have just pushed an update out that should fix all the serious offenders such as :

- HDR issues and blackscreens
- Crashing
- Video issues during playback scenes
- Many other smaller issues.

For those of you still rocking through the clerical lifestyle in our demo before launch, please make sure your build is fully updated for the smoothest experience, and once again thank you all for your reports.

On launch day we will have an FAQ available listing any ongoing and reported bugs, as well as any workarounds or solutions for folks to check before submitting anything new. We'll link to it on our launch day blog so eyes peeled!
WHEN CAN I PLAY?!
KARMA will be launching on March 27th at Mid-day GMT on Steam, and at midnight local time for those playing on PlayStation 5. We have this handy Leviathan approved global time map for you to see exactly when you'll be able to enrol as a ROAM agent this Thursday.
SPay Less
As the final piece of news in todays blog, we are pleased to announce that for two weeks starting on launch all PC Players will receive a 10% discount on KARMA, also applied to those on PlayStation with PsPlus. We also can announce our launch day bundle offerings. These come in 3 flavours, and the links will be live for you to view on launch day (we'll share them again don't worry) :

1- The Deluxe Edition Bundle - All the KARMA content you could ever need, and then some.
- It includes the game
- The 138 page artbook (which is STUNNING)
- The 58 song soundtrack
- AND the 5 song EP featuring songs used during our EPIC trailer announcements.

2 - The Wired Family Discount Bundles - as a thank you to all of our fans, if you own ANY of the Wired Productions library on Steam, you will be able to purchase a bundle with Karma included to 'complete the set' and save 15% on top of the 10% launch discount! Pretty good right?

This counts for ANY of our games, so check your library to see if you've already played any of our indie classics (Or heck, pick up Bulwark right now for the cost of a meal deal and get a fantastic City builder as well as your discount!)

If you're unsure, have a look at our Steam publisher page and check our range of games : CLICK HERE TO SEE ALL OUR GAMES!

3 - Finally, we are partnering up with two of our other Indie Publishing friends to celebrate both the love of indie gaming, and the disturbing worlds and tales that can be created within.

On launch day, you'll be able to pick up bundles of :
- KARMA and INDIKA
- KARMA and Still Wakes The Deep.

Unfamiliar with them? Here's a quick run down :

INDIKA is a third-person, story-driven game set in alternative Russia at the turn of the XIX century where religious visions clash with harsh reality. INDIKA tells the story of a young nun who sets off on a journey of self-discovery with the most unusual companion by her side, the devil himself - one for fans of games that break traditional conventions with mechanics and presentation interwoven expertly to tell a story.

Still Wakes The Deep places you in 1975 where disaster strikes the Beira D oil rig off the coast of Scotland. Navigate the collapsing rig to save your crew from an otherworldly horror on the edge of all logic and reality - one for fans of fantastic voice acting, supernatural horror, and anyone who fancies themselves handy with the leccy.

Right, that about wraps it up for today! However you decide to play KARMA, and whichever way you decide to pick it up - we thank you, and can't wait to hear your thoughts once the credits roll.

We'll speak again soon, and remember. The gates to Utopia are open to those who serve

KARMA: The Dark World (PC) Review

If I’m being honest, I was eager to jump into KARMA: The Dark World primarily because it immediately caught my attention with a horror-esque vibe. I’m not quite sure why March seemed to be full of horror releases when October is usually starved of them, but for my favourite genre in gaming, I’ll take what I can get.

However, KARMA: The Dark World quickly lost its lustre as it slowly but surely fell prey to some of the usual sins of horror games. Frankly, I don’t think it’s even fair to call it a horror game—but we’ll get into that in a bit. As its charm slipped away, it became a game more defined by what it could have been than what it actually is.

Since KARMA: The Dark World is meant to be somewhat of a mystery, I won’t delve too deeply into the plot to avoid spoilers. Players take on the role of Daniel McGovern, an agent with the massive Leviathan Corporation’s Thought Bureau. What begins as a fairly routine case of theft quickly spirals out of control into something much... Read more

KARMA: The Dark World Launch Week!

Here we go agents, less than 3 days to go now until you step into the shoes of a ROAM agent!
Foreword
Before we (brain) dive into what to expect this week - a quick note to those of you that have been playing the demo and reporting bugs, first of all, thank you! There will be a patch addressing what you've flagged up on the game ready for launch, so keep on reporting!

Pointing at the most notable we've seen occurring :
- Black screens after calibration room settings - this is related to HDR, ensure it's disabled if you're having black screen crashes, this has been identified and will be fixed for launch.
What's happening this week?
We've got LOTS to share with you before we launch, and whilst we don't want to spoil EVERYTHING ahead of our launch on Thursday, here's what you may want to keep an eye on during the week!

Tuesday 25th - Confirming full launch times per region and platform, as well as announcing some exciting bundles with other fantastic narrative games, as well as the loyalty discounts and where to buy.

Weds 26th - Some behind the scenes blogs from our friends at Unreal, Intel and more breaking down the technical specifics of the game and teaching you more about the world - as well as announcing the full achievement lists for the game.

Thurs 27th - LAUNCH DAY! Where a 24 hour Livestream hosted LIVE on steam will act as the hub for all the rest of our launch activities, including (but not limited to) :

- Live footage from a Leviathan clerks office, keep the employees company, help track strange goings on, and maybe win a couple of goodies.
- The launch of the full OST on all streaming services for you to enjoy
- Reviews and roundups / celebrations of the game!
- A whole host of creators scheduled to go live on every platform, in multiple regions - find someone to share the experience with if you'd rather watch the story unfold from behind a pillow!
- MANY competitions, including a VERY unique PlayStation 5, Handheld PC's, copies of the game, bundles with our partners and physical merch.
- And much much more.

Speaking of Physical merch... our Leviathan approved merch store quietly went live today, we'll be announcing it properly tomorrow socially - but you are all the MVP's and deserve first dibs before others start getting their hands on ROAM Agent Swag.

Merch Store

This is but the tip of the iceberg for what's happening this week, and we hope that you'll come and make lots of noise and celebrate the nervous excitement of launching a game with us. Keep your eyes peeled here for all updates and we'll make sure you don't miss a beat. We'll speak again soon, and remember. The gates to Utopia are open to those who serve
