Incoming bug fixes
Hello everybody, we've been working hard to increase the performance of The Citadel to deliver the best game experience to you. The number of comments regarding stuttering and very abnormally high CPU usage have been noted, we've looked into these and identified several issues causing these.
For the most part, they're several different, but intersecting issues, involving AI behaviour and pathing, navmeshes, physics/projectile collision calculation, and the way geometry is set up in the game. Some of these have involved significant work on optimising, but some preliminary testing indicates that performance is within expected and usual bounds once these are taken care of. These will be rolled out as soon as possible. After this, we'll turn our attention to some of the other issues with gameplay glitches, and we're also working on fully integrated controller support.
Coming soon will also be automated resolution recognition support with a wider range of options. We are investigating the game's implementation of features to see how changeable FoV and uncapped FPS should be integrated.
Thanks for your patience! Keep fighting, Martyrs.
