Let's Talk Pandemic Train: Interactions within the crew

Hello community!

We continue to keep you informed about our upcoming Pandemic Train game! In this post, we are going to present some details about the passengers’ interaction aboard the train.

One of the key elements of Pandemic Train is managing the crew. Each and every member of your team will be responsible for something aboard the train - from the engine maintenance to providing security to other members. However, they will not follow your orders blindly, as each of them has a unique personality and set of traits. Thanks to those, the passengers can react differently depending on the decision you have made. If you are too oppressive, they can revolt against you. On the other hand, if you give them too much freedom, anarchy can quickly spread across the train.

Moreover, the circumstances aboard the Pandemic Train can result in various interactions between the crew members as well. They can turn against each other as quickly as they turn against their leader. The reasons may vary - hunger, desperation, or simply - an old grudge. In the harsh, war-torn reality of Pandemic Train, many of your crew members are forced to cooperate despite their deeply rooted animosities against each other. It is your job to keep them on a tight leash.

Hey, no one has said it will be an easy task!

Let's talk Pandemic Train

Hello, community!

We'd like to share some information about Pandemic Train with you on the regular basis. To start off, let's talk about something inevitable - the dead bodies.

In Pandemic Train your job is not only to survive but also - to find the cure for the deadly Plague which struck the world in the beginning of the 20th century.

That means doing the research on the living ones... and dissecting the dead. One might think what is the purpose of keeping the bodies on the train? The answer is science.

Only by carefully studying the development of the virus you can work on creating an efficient vaccine. It can be done while the patient is still alive, or after his death. Close examination of the damages done by the virus increases your chance of developing the cure. It is up to you to decide how many bodies do you want to store on your train, but bear in mind - the more bodies you keep, the more upset the crew can become. The research is one thing, but the psychological stability of the people close to you is the other.

There are other factors as well - decomposing bodies are a natural cause of infection, especially if the deceased was the host for the Plague. However, the more bodies you examine, the more knowledge you get, which can slowly push you toward victory. But you always have to think about the cost of that victory.

It's the Hell on Earth, and you're in the middle of it.
