Let's Talk about Pandemic Train : Enemies
Hello survivors!
Today's devlog will be dedicated to the enemies we meet while exploring in the open. Let's get acquainted with them!

As for the order of exploration…
Let's start with biome one:
Machos - Large melee gang members are powerfully built howlers with really high strength, but they are not very fast. These tough guys will require the player to fire more shots than the others.

Chicos - with no better prospects than working for the Cerdos gang. Alarmed, they run up to the player at the distance of their ranged attack and fire shots with small arms.

Snipers – They are usually well protected and hide behind cover during combat. They shoot very slowly, but effectively. It's best to get out of their line of fire or try your luck at dodging, otherwise, you won't live long.
Second biome:
Here we will meet a group of Cultists.

Butcher is a fighter, who as soon as he gets close to you will bring out a series of hits worthy of admiration – if only it wasn't aimed at you!

Trapper is moderately suitable for fighting, but this is not the role he plays in this group. His goal is to ambush you! Hiding is what he does best, so keep your eyes open, or he will surprise you.

Hunter, who doesn't like to get his hands dirty in hand-to-hand combat, so will shoot at you from a safe distance with a crossbow, waiting for his tainted arrows to finish you off.

Rats. Slimy rat-like creatures on two legs are not too dangerous, as long as you encounter a single individual. Unfortunately… devious rats attack only in a larger group, and believe me, their teeth and claws will infect you with a worse mess than tetanus.
Third biome
The large Otterbears are relatively slow creatures that jump at their enemies, using their size and weight to fight. The white color is their camouflage, they are not very intelligent.

Volker – Wolves that rely on speed and claws. Better not let them come close. They were created by mixing beta fluid and wolf blood.

Plague Soldat - Soldiers of The Plague were not transformed into animals. Under their masks, they hide faces deformed by their unfinished transformation. They are fighting from a distance.

That's probably everyone by now… Or maybe not?

Until the next one!

Let's Talk about Pandemic Train: Merry Christmas, survivors!
Hello survivors!
The winter atmosphere is embracing us more and more.

Even in a Pandemic Train, winter has no mercy and freezes the train to extremely low temperatures.
As Christmas is just around the corner, we've decided to give our crew something to warm them up. After all, what could be better than a heating stove module when you're almost freezing to death, right?

We, on the other hand, wish you to enjoy a wonderful warm Christmas atmosphere with your dearest ones. May your Christmas tree look better than the one from Pandemic Train. And may you receive a gift that will make you smile.
Don't let diseases get you down, and don't get off the track!
We hope we can all find moments of rest for ourselves this Holiday season.
Merry Christmas, survivors!

Unfortunately, our crew doesn’t the opportunity for a long rest, and the plague is giving them a hard time. Once the infection sneaks into your train, take care of your crew and get rid of it!
The question of how to do this will be answered by Ela as soon as you pass the first biome ;)

We also have an announcement for you:
Beta tests will be postponed for a few more weeks
You keep asking for the official beta tests launch, and we couldn't be happier with your engagement in the game's production. Your dedication means a lot to us! Our dedication to the project is also enormous. However, it led us to the decision that we needed to postpone the beta tests for a couple more weeks.
The reason is simple: after some internal and external testing, we've decided that we want to add more features and mechanics. They will improve gameplay even more and make it more interesting, challenging, and forgiving at the same time. As a result, we want to give you a game that will satisfy both: people who grew up with rogue likes and those who are not much familiar with the genre yet. We also want to have a complete set of localizations for the game. We're finishing up work on the English original localization kit, and then we would probably need another month to have all these texts translated.
Therefore, we've decided to move beta tests from December 2022 to Q1 2023 so the lucky 100 people who are invited to test the game can share their feedback on all the features and let us know which of those work well, and which should be changed or maybe even deleted to improve your experience. As you surely understand, it's in the best interest of the game and it's players to have all the features tested first and check what works well, and what doesn't before Pandemic Train hits the market. So, if you haven't signed up for the beta tests yet, and use our Google Form. We will pick 100 people to participate in beta tests happening in Q1 2023, and we'll let you know here when you should check if you've got the invitation.

So feel free to add the game to your wish list to keep up to date!
