Pandemic Train - Release date update

Dear Passengers,
We're so happy to see you with us on September the 1st. For some people, it's the beginning of the autumn. For others, the most eventful time of the year as more and more games keeps releasing and finally taking up all of your free time. For us, it's exiting because we're closer and closer to Pandemic Train's launch.
Pandemic Train's release date
As some of you might have noticed,

Lets talk Pandemic Train: Workers and Events
Hello survivors!
Let's start by saying thank you to all the participants of the second beta - Pandemic Train for taking part in the testing! We are grateful to you for your involvement and all your feedbacks.
What will you learn about the game today?
Following on from previous Devlogs, today we want to show you what you actually gain from spending meta currencies and upgrades.
In addition to increased resources to start a new journey or more hp, we can upgrade our train crew.

A trained worker will have more options when working on the train, giving us a better chance of survival!

As you can see in the above screenshot - a trained worker produces more for less!
To see which profession a crew member is trained in, just hover your cursor over his icon.
Events
Keeping with the crew theme, we'll also reveal something new to you. While the leaders are fighting outside the train, there is still something happening on the train. When you return from exploring, you may come across a message telling you about some events that happened while you were away.

These events can be good or bad, and sometimes you will have to act on them. It will be up to you to make a decision. Each decision will have consequences, and some may affect future events.

Managing people is not an easy thing to do, and as F.D. Roosevelt used to say:

β€œIt's a terrible thing to look over your shoulder when you are trying to lead -- and to find no one there.”

Until the next one!

Lets talk Pandemic Train: Meta currencies
Hello survivors!
In the last article, we showed you how to improve many aspects in the Pandemic Train through our HQ. Today we're going to talk about the meta currencies in Pandemic Train through which this can be done.

Each of the upgrades to choose from in headquarters has a price. Even here, unfortunately, nothing is free. As you explore biomes, you may come across items of value to collect. Each biome is a different type of meta currency to acquire.

The more an upgrade brings to the game, the more expensive it is and the more meta currency it requires. As you can see from the screenshots, we have as many as 4 meta currencies in the game.

The Craftsman utensils

We collect them in biome one, so this is the first currency encountered in Pandemic Train. You can find it in boxes.

Mycelium

To be found in the swamps of biome two

ATEM Research

They are located in biome three

Beta Fluid

It is the rarest and most difficult to obtain.

Now that you know all about our meta currencies, we will show you how the mycelium was created and what it looks like in gameplay.

Let's talk Pandemic Train: Headquarters upgrades
Welcome survivors!

Messages for Testers
The beta is fast approaching, and there are messages waiting on the emails for selected testers from us, with information about getting into the second beta of Pandemic Train!

Remember to take a look at your spam as well, where our message might have accidentally gone.

However, before the second beta begins, take a look at how the Headquarters functionality has changed.
Upgrading leaders
While in Headquarters, you can upgrade many of the aspects that are important during gameplay. In the barracks, you can upgrade each leader individually using the Pandemic Train meta currency. For the right amount, you can get upgrades such as more space in the selected leader's backpack or his HP or damage taken.
Upgrading workers
However, not only leaders can be upgraded! By approaching different rooms in the HQ, you can upgrade your workers in the various fields used on the train.
Helpful upgrades
However, for people to work for you and for your mission to be accomplished, you also need many non-skill factors...
You can also choose enhancements that give you some help to get started. You will be given different upgrades to select from in different rooms. More food or water to start? Additional items for combat?
You pick what you need!
