Hotfix 01

[p][/p][p]We’ve worked throughout the weekend and we think we have a solution ready for the corrupting save files.[/p][p]The patch just went live, so please update your game! [/p][p][/p][h2]What does the hotfix do?[/h2][hr][/hr][h3]SAVE FILE SYSTEM[/h3][p]We’ve removed manual saves altogether.[/p][p]Manually saved games previously have loaded the game at the start of the day, even if it has been saved at the end of the day. We felt the system was redundant and only caused issues, which was also the prime reason for save file corruption.[/p][p][/p][p]We removed the button to manually save the game.[/p][p][/p][p]We added a fix for the corrupted save files.[/p][p]IMPORTANT![/p][p]There’s a chance that your save files are fixed after applying this patch, however certain circumstances need to be met:[/p]

1. [p]The easiest way to check if the fix was applied properly is to load the game from the latest autosave and check if the day displayed on screen matches the day when the game was actually saved. [/p]

[p]The first indication that the save file was corrupted was when the day loaded as Day 01 and the game wanted to run the beginning tutorial once again.[/p]

1. [p]If you stopped playing immediately after you’ve seen the bug occur and waited for the fix you should be totally fine to resume your playthrough.[/p]
2. [p]If you continued to play the game despite the bug occurring and you moved to the next day, the save file is most likely corrupted and the playthrough cannot be retrieved. [/p]

[p][/p][p]If you’ve tried to brute force your way through the bug or If you’re unsure whether the fix worked properly, it is our recommendation to manually remove the save files from your hard drive and start anew.[/p][p][/p][p]You can find the game save files in the following folder:[/p][p]\[DRIVE]:\\Users\\\[USER NAME]\\AppData\\LocalLow\\GamingFactory\\PizzaSlice[/p][p](please replace the bolded names in brackets to your system specific naming and drive convention][/p][p]Remove the entire /Saves folder.[/p][p][/p][p]Once again, we’re deeply sorry that this bug has influenced your experience.
