Shujinkou is not an educational game, nor is it "edutainment." As mentioned in the review above, Shujinkou is, first and foremost, a full JRPG that can be enjoyed without any aspect of learning. However, for those who do want to learn Japanese while they play, the systems are in place to facilitate that.
