Big Patch 2.0.0.0

We announce the first major update to Dojoran!
Until now, we were focusing our efforts on fixing critical bugs that affected the overall gameplay of the game.
This time, we are working on improving the game's presentation on stream channels, and especially preparing for a possible console port in the future. The update includes several changes to the game's HUD, and a big difference in its resolution scale. We try to keep the "retro" look of Dojoran, and at the same time fit it in the resolution of current monitors.
We also improved some small details that really make a difference for those who play the game more often.

Here is the list of changes:
  • General game resolution increased. You may notice slight differences in the scenario of some stages, where the gameplay has not been affected in general, but now the traps can be seen and activated earlier. This is a big change, and there may be some bugs regarding this from now on. We will be attentive.
  • HUD graphic improvement. We like how simple the Dojoran HUD was, but we wanted to take some of the empty space out of the screen.
  • Added Game Timer on HUD, and time improvement. Now the timer stops counting while on loading screens.
  • Added game icon on the taskbar. It's actually a bug fix, but since no one knew it was there ...
  • The hidden feature when you get all the coins in the game is no longer hidden.
  • Now you can see the name of the XBOX control buttons in the command change menu, instead of numbers.
  • Added small animations in the credits (useful to know who has already finished the game, right?).
  • The mouse pointer will now automatically disappear from the game window.
  • It is now possible to save the Fullscreen option, and it is applied automatically when the game starts.
  • The gameplay through analog control has been considerably improved (specifically on the wallgrab). This change is still in testing.

Bug fixes:
  • The bug with the Steam overlay has been fixed. Finally there is no more need to disable it in the settings! And now you can normally see the achievements appearing. This change is still in testing.
  • SPOILER: Fixed the small collision area on the Boss's nose, where he didn't take damage.
  • Fixed timer when selecting save.
  • The character didn't raise dust when he had the apple in his mouth, now everything is normal!
  • Fixed small "friction" that the torch made when saving the checkpoint.

If you find a bug, please mention it on the community page! We will be watching for possible problems in today's update.
