Webbed tells a daring story of a happy little spider on an adventure to save her boyfriend from a big mean bowerbird. Swing through the trees, spin sticky webs, and make friends with bugs in this wonderful 2D physics adventure game, set in a fantasy Queensland.

I've had one eye on Webbed for a while, because if you take your eyes off a spider, that's when it scurries away. Instead, it's scurried closer: the platformer in which you play a web-slinging, skateboarding, top-hat wearing spider now has a September 9th release. There's a new trailer below.

The Steam Game Festival demo is a short day in the life of our brave little spider, and takes place before the events of Webbed. You'll get to swing around a big tree, catch some flies in your webs, and help out a couple of your insect friends.

It's a small snapshot of the full game that should let you get a feel for the swinging and web building mechanics. We're always keen to hear any feedback, and we hope you enjoy the preview!
