Builders of China - Devlog #4 - "Time and Dynasty"

[h2]Let us talk a little bit about the time period that we will be focusing in the game.[/h2]

Time goes by very quickly when you're working on a great project and you know that there are a lot of great fans waiting for your game. And it has been quite busy for us these days because every day is a great adventure and another step on the road leading us to fully become Builders of China.

Recently some of you have expressed an interest in learning about the time period that we'll be focusing on in the game. We strongly believe that there are many fascinating stories and moments that are waiting to be re-discovered by all of us (and (and we definitely know that everyone has their own favourite period of history!) but for the moment our main focus falls upon the Tang Dynasty - truly golden time in the history of China. It was then when Chang'an, the Perpetual Peace, was the biggest city in the whole world! In this period new building techniques were discovered and many, many projects started to appear enrichening the culture of the whole nation...

Hopefully under our wings we too will be able to reach that level or even elevate the nation to a higher position!



What you see above is just a small part of what we've been working on these days. As you might see we're trying to make sure that game is graphically stunning in all of its elements and not without a certain charm that makes it unresistible to fans of Chinese history and culture (and keep in mind that gifs always reduce the quality of the video). We'll be happy to share more with you very soon but for now let us leave you with this little sneak peek into our inner workings.
