Version 0.2.3-alpha - Now Live!

Changelog
Major Features
V0.2.3-alpha brings quite a few major features (some of which have been in development for months), and are now ready to release!
New Main Menu
Our new main menu has been in development for a few months now, and it is now live for all! The new menu features an improved serverlist, improved credits, and is more organized. There are less buttons presented immediately, however there is the same amount of content as before. Additionally, we have introduced a join friend feature, allowing players to join their Steam friend(s) directly through the game!
New Admin Menu
We have completely revamped the admin menu to provide more features that have been requested! We have added the ability to view and copy map seeds directly from the menu, a better system for moderation (including being able to provide a reason and duration), and a better textbased admin command system. The panel will only show what you have permission to access - no redundancy! Did we mention that you can now select multiple players to run a command on? Whoa!
Plugin System Rework
The update that most of the plugin development portion of ET has been waiting for - the plugin system has been reworked! The system functions better, and has numerous events for identifying when certain things in the game happen. The new plugin system is still in-dev, and expect more features with it soon! Its documentation can be found here.
Voice Chat Rework
The game's Voice Chat has been reprogrammed, allowing for much easier communication with less glitches and lag.
SCP Changes
V0.2.3-alpha introduces quite a few additions and removals to non-living SCPs.
SCP-008
SCP-008's room has been added! In order to enter entrance zone, players will now need to close SCP-008 and prevent the spread of the disease. Until SCP-008 is contained, the entrance zone checkpoint is locked.
SCP-049
SCP-049 has been completely rewritten! SCP-049 will now spawn as soon as the Light Containment Zone lockdown is deactivated, and will pursue ANY player that he sees or hears. As he is vision AND sound based, stealthily moving while he is nearby is key to not getting spotted.
SCP-178
We have introduced SCP-178 (the 3D glasses). SCP-178 causes several instances of SCP-178-1 to appear while wearing the glasses, and attack the player if disturbed (including if the glasses are taken off). However, wearing the glasses will reveal the location of nearby items and players through walls. The glasses will replace SCP-1025.
SCP-1025
SCP-1025 (the encyclopedia of common diseases) will no longer spawn by default (SCP-178 has taken its position). This SCP can only be spawned with admin commands. It may return in the future with new and improved code, but for now SCP-178 has taken its position.
SCP-1123 - GONE
We have removed SCP-1123 (the skull). While SCP-1123 is a well known SCP, it is difficult to maintain internally, and it served no purpose in-game. Its room still exists, and the level 2 keycard can be retrieved from its room, but SCP-1123 itself no longer spawns.
Minor Features
• Added a safezone to the SCP-173 starting room, preventing SCP-173 from entering the room when the round starts. Exiting and re-entering a safezone does not guarantee protection, however.
 • Added a safezone to the SCP-939 storage rooms, preventing SCP-106 from targeting players who are in the storage area. If you are already being pursued by SCP-106, he will continue to pursue you even if you go into the SCP-939 storage rooms.
 • Large improvements to map generation should lead to much less map collisions than before.
 • Discord statuses will now show elapsed time on the main menu and in-game, and will show a unique image for certain rooms (eg. the 173 starting room). Hovering over the SCP:ET logo will now show the version the user is playing on.
 • Added invisible walls to the SCP-106 containment chamber railing. No more jumping to the bottom of its containment and retrieving a free level 5 keycard.
 • Added new inventory icons for the Flashlight, P90, and SCP-860.
 • Added content warning while the game is loading.
 • Broadcasts can only be displayed for up to 1 minute, instead of an infinite amount of time.
 • Changed level 4 keycard inside of SCP-966's room into a level 3.
 • Added signs in various rooms across the facility that point to other rooms.
 • Camera shaking effect has been applied to elevators and certain ambients.
 • Adding a "Press [KEYBIND] to spectate" hint that displays upon death.
 • The Light Containment Zone Clean Room now operates as T-way room, and the control room can be entered with a keycard. The Clean Room can also be enabled and disabled.
 • The Light Containment Zone airlocks have been re-implemented, and now force users to wait inside the airlock for a short period of time.
 • Added labels in certain rooms that point to other rooms.
 • Added a warning popup when the graphics settings are set too high than recommended.
 • Added pickup animations to certain items.
 • Added viewable in-game server info.
 • Gas has been reworked, and is more visually realistic.
Commands & Server Updates
• Added server tags, which will allow server hosts to add tags to their server which users can search for.
 • Re-added join and leave logs to the server console, and added player IP to both.
 • Fixed the server console "broadcast" and "reload" commands.
 • Removed the SCP-173 configuration - they caused issues with his new AI.
 • Added "showsettings [group]" command to reveal certain server settings. This command can only be run by the host.
 • Added "kick [steamId]" and "ban [steamId] [length (minutes)] [reason]" server console commands.
 • Added "uptime" server console command to display the server's uptime.
 • Fixed a bug which allowed using the "respawn" chat command while alive.
 • NoTarget is now properly reset on spawn.
 • Hints now have a character limit of 200. Broadcasts have an unlimited limit, however they have a max display timer of 60 seconds, and multiple broadcasts with the same message cannot be added.
Bug Fixes
• Fixed the keycard button on the inside of SCP-106's containment chamber being inside the wall.
 • Gas in the LCZ lockrooms will now stop dispensing when the door is opened, instead of simply disappearing.
 • SCP-106's idling timer will no longer decrease before the round has started.
 • Fixed percentages being displayed incorrectly on powered items (eg. "SNav (00%)").
 • Fixed a bug which caused SCP-049 to get stuck in a certain office room in LCZ.
 • Fixed multiple networking bugs related to SCP-294 (eg. the machine not dispensing a drink for certain players).
 • Fixed an out of bounds bug that used dead bodies to reach places.
 • Fixed a bug regarding the inventory UI remaining open when changing classes.
 • Fixed SCP-012's door button colliding with the SCP sign.
 • Fixed a bug which involved items de-spawning when a user is killed by SCP-049 (this was an oversight, as users who are killed by SCP-049 do not spawn a body).
 • Players' dimension is now set to the facility on spawn. This fixes a bug which involved SCP-106 immunity.

Version 0.2.2-alpha Live Beta

We have released an update to the public beta (Version 0.2.2-alpha), which fixes more bugs and adds more minor features.
Updates
* Clean Room now has a 2 second enable/disable cooldown.
* Added Plugin.FolderPath property.
* Added Map.GetAllWaypoints() to return all waypoints.
* Added heavy door to surface
Bug Fixes
* Fixed improper navigation for the LCZ office room
* Fix the Pocket Dimension "plane" forcing players who are not in the trench to look at it.
* Added proper caption for the "SaveMeFrom" ambient change.
* Fix in-game server info tags not properly displaying.

Version 0.2.1-alpha Live Beta

We have released an update to the live public beta, titled Version 0.2.1-alpha. This update is a minor update, and releases multiple fixes to bugs that were discovered during the initial beta release.

Changelog
Updates
• Re-implemented airlocks, with a wait period inside the airlock.
 • Added SCP-049 control room and containment room ambients.
 • Added PluginType to plugins.
 • Enabled DoorInteract event.
 • Added additional door to the LCZ control room
Bug Fixes
• Fixed SCP-966 room.
 • Fixed a bug in which players in the plugin API could be null.
 • Fixed SCP-008 lid being difficult to close.
 • Items will now drop from users who die to SCP-049 (fixed items simply disappearing because 049 death doesn't spawn a body).
 • Pastebin server info in-game actually works now.
 • Dimension is now set to facility on spawn (fixes immunity to SCP-106 and other issues).

Version 0.2.0-alpha Live Beta

We have released a live beta for Version 0.2.0-alpha. This beta is available for all users, and can be accessed by enabling the "beta" beta under the game's properties.

The live beta releases multiple new features and bug fixes, including a reworked SCP-049, SCP-178, as well as a new main menu, new admin menu, and much more!
