It’s been a long time ago since we shared details of our upcoming new adventure with you all – orignally titled Eldritch House - and we wanted to share about the game’s journey since our original announcement.

The Séance of Blake Manor is a spooky supernatural detective mystery set in a remote manor house in 1897 rural Ireland. As an Irish team it was really important to us to showcase elements of Irish history, folklore, and superstition alongside a compelling mystery.

We teamed up with Raw Fury, unveiled the game’s new name and our fantastic announcement trailer in March this year.

Throughout the development process, naturally, the identity of the product has become more established through its plot and mechanics. As such, the original title – Eldritch House – felt too broad and not focused on what makes the game unique. The Séance of Blake Manor opens up exciting questions about the game’s story, its characters and location, but equally hints at what players can expect and what they might find in 1897 Ireland.

Since then, we have been working full speed ahead on crafting The Séance of Blake Manor into an exciting and intricate detective story where nothing is what it seems.

You play as Detective Declan Ward – a working class detective who carries the guilt of past mistakes - tasked with locating a missing young woman, Evelyn Deane – an upper class socialite with links to Mister Ward’s previous life - who has vanished in mysterious circumstances from the eerie Blake Manor hotel.

During your time on the case, you will need to investigate the guests, the staff and the residents of the hotel. Piecing together mysteries from clues obtained from exploring, conversations with those around you and unravelling the unsettling supernatural goings-on.

Time is not on your side as you hurry to find the missing woman before it’s too late. Interacting with items and people will move time forward so you will need to be selective about what you want to inspect, choosing wisely to learn what you need to know about Evelyn’s disappearance. All the mysteries are solvable in a single play, but it may take more than one run through of the game to know the optimal route to get it all done!

Your choices impact your investigations, choose from dialogue options, elements you wish to confront guests and staff about and explore rooms around the hotel that will lead you to the answers you need. Miss Deane, and perhaps everyone at Blake Manor, is depending on you.

While the team is at Gamescom you will be able to begin your investigation into the mysterious disappearance of Evelyn Deane from the Blake Manor hotel.

With 48 hours until the Grand Séance, there is a lot to uncover and learn in a short space of time. Talk to guests, residents and staff, explore the hotel, collect clues and put together the pieces of this supernatural mystery.

We’re excited to share that The Séance of Blake Manor will be coming to Gamescom 2025!



We will be part of the Raw Fury booth and you’ll be able to find us in Hall 10.1, B21 between 20-24 August 2025.

There, you will be able to try out our showfloor demo and begin your investigations into the case of the missing young woman, Evelyn Deane. There is a lot more to her disappearance, the hotel, and the many suspects than meets the eye, so this is not going to be a simple case - far from it.
