Disney Dreamlight Valley has shared its roadmap for the first half of 2023 including some new characters, several star path season passes—oh, and multiplayer too. Before we dive into today’s big announcement, we wanted to thank you for helping to make 2022 a truly magical year. From announcement to Early Access launch, your support has meant the world to us and we wouldn’t be where we are today without you. It’s not hyperbole to say that your feedback and support has made Disney Dreamlight Valley an even better game, and for that, we thank you!

It’s safe to say that in between welcoming a fun-loving visitor from beyond the stars and outfitting your Valley with an abundance of festive spirit, you’ve been eagerly anticipating a look at our roadmap for the future. Well, today, we’re excited to share a first look at what we have planned for early 2023!

Kicking off with our next major update in the next few weeks, we have a whole slate of free updates on the way. Take a look at our early 2023 content roadmap below to get your first look at what to expect from the next couple months:

From a host of beloved characters eager to visit Dreamlight Valley, to Disney magic galore that will help you tap into – among other things – your love for Disney Parks, 2023 is shaping up to be a HUGE year for Disney Dreamlight Valley! Mysteries abound as you will get to delve deeper into the secrets that surround The Forgetting. This is just the tip of the iceberg, though. You can also expect countless surprises with each and every one of these updates, including new features and improvements stemming from the invaluable community feedback that’s been shared so far.

Excited to dig in? Update 3 will release in February, welcoming two new friends we know you’ve been buzzing about, while also celebrating Disney’s 100th Anniversary in a new Star Path. Stay tuned over the coming weeks as we share more details on what to expect from this update, as well as when you can expect to welcome its magic into your home. We’ve got a lot to share and we can’t wait to hear what you think!

Completing your Disney Dreamlight Valley collection is a fun way to spend time while waiting for the next Dreamlight Valley update. Not only is it satisfying to check off the boxes and round out those numbers in the log, it's also key to building out your perfect dream town as you hunt down some of those more elusive items. However, the farming game's economy is driven by one miserly figure, and his restrictive restocks make that process a struggle.

Disney Dreamlight Valley flowers make foraging a guessing game

I'm sure most Disney Dreamlight Valley players have spent their fair share of time gathering flowers at this point, whether it's to fill out that collection, complete certain quests for the roster of Dreamlight Valley characters that hang out in your beautiful town, or to build yourself some snazzy new furniture. It's an arduous task at the best of times, but it's made even more awkward thanks to colour similarities that can leave you chasing after the wrong plants in the farming game.
