Ram Usage Reduced to around 13gb

  • Reduced the amount of system ram the game uses down from around 19-24gb to around 13gb.
  • After the game is run one time after this update, the text file called Options_Spawning.iop will have some addition spawn settings you can adjust to fine-tune how many dinosaurs, critters, and edible plants/trees/aquatic food spawns. This file is located with the rest of your save game files. Increasing these default values may increase the amount of system ram the game uses.
  • Fixed a glitch where the Options_Spawning.iop file wasn't loading and saving the correct values.

  • Attempting to fix a glitch where some creatures that die still behave partially like they're alive.

  • Trying to fix a crash that happens from attacking non-responsive creatures for some users.

Patch 1.1.28

  • Wounds are once again being created on the player's creature every time they're attacked, up to 20 wounds.
  • The game's target framerate has been changed from 120 down to 60 to try to get Unity's garbage collector to work better.
  • Adjusted the meganeura to get its wings to be visible at further distances.

  • Attempting to fix an AI creature freezing problem that could occur for some users and not others and cause creatures to not work properly, then crash the game if killed.
