Update

The distance at which a creature must fall before it takes fall damage has been increased so it doesn't happen as often.

The amount of health that must be lost from a single fall in order to break bones has been increased to make it harder to break bones.

You no longer cancel auto-eat or auto-drink mode by typing an "e" character into chat.

Terrestrial and aerial creatures now lose stamina while swimming.

If a terrestrial or aerial creature runs out of stamina while swimming they will instead lose breath.

Aquatic creatures that are on land no longer have 50% stamina regeneration, they instead have none and need to be in the water in order to regenerate stamina.

Amphibious creatures can regenerate stamina while swimming or on land.

Terrestrial and aerial creatures can only regenerate stamina while on land.

Amphibious and aquatic creatures no longer regenerate stamina twice as quickly while in the water.

Terrestrial and aerial creatures should now be sinking in the water instead of floating above the water's surface. (still needs some manual adjustments per species in the future)

Flying acceleration is now slower.

You are once again able to gain altitude from flapping your wings while flying.

Flying-Burst is now working again. While flying, hold the shift key and then press the spacebar to burst forward, as long as you have enough stamina.

Flying-Uplift is now working again. While flying, and holding the precise movement key to hover in place, press the spacebar to fly upwards in a quick burst, as long as you have enough stamina.

New Tyrannosaurus Model

The Tyrannosaurus Rex has a new model, skins, and animations.

The previous Tyrannosaurus Rex model is now being used for the new species gorgosaurus.

Small Update

A creature's eating sound volume has been reduced by 50% while underwater.

Water is now foggier further away.

Creatures are now spawning in much greater densities in the wild now, in multiplayer games.

Thalassodromeus can now sit to recover health and stamina quicker. Its not a traditional sit animation, instead it uses its "Preening" animation while sitting. (Until a proper sitting animation can be made)

All creatures can now swim underwater now. Just be careful you don't run out of breath if you aren't a strong swimmer.

Fixed a glitch where dropping a piece of food on top of a rock would make the food fall through the rock.

Bones and Skeletons in The Great Sands

Added some bones and skeletons to The Great Sands map.

Added some more rocks to The Great Sands map.

Added some new proto-bird and insect ambience sounds to the Ancient Jungle map.

Insects should no longer wander too far away from nests.

Small Update

Baryonyx is now an amphibious creature.

Baryonyx had its running and sprinting animations swapped, and animation speeds adjusted.

Juveniles can once again spawn in the wilderness.

A creature's tail animator is now disabled upon death.

Now, bleeding stacks are removed every 1 second, or faster, instead of being extremely drawn out the lower your bleed stacks were.

Creatures now have a "Body Type", which can either be "Lean" or "Bulky". A creature being "Bulky" is now taken into consideration when calculating how much damage it will take from other creatures, and they can take less damage.

Passive health regeneration can now happen while a creature is bleeding, but is reduced to 10% of its normal rate.

Bleed damage is now based on maximum health, so it should function approximately the same for smaller and larger creatures. Though the more stacks of bleed damage you have the faster you lose health.

Creatures should no longer get stuck running around a dead creature in circles, after it had died while they were chasing as it was fleeing.

Medium, large, and huge carnivores have new eating sounds.

Carnivores that inflict bleed damage had their normal damage reduced by 50%.

Herbivores that inflict bleed damage had their normal damage reduced by 25% and their bleed damage reduced by 50%.

AI creatures should no longer be attacking more often than their attack cooldown.

The fog color has changed in The Great Sands map to a more yellow color instead of a blue color.
